Fans have known that Jana Kramer and Allan Russell are expecting a baby together for a while, but now they know exactly what kind of bun Jana has in her oven. The 39-year-old made the big gender reveal on her Whine Down podcast Monday, announcing the sex of the baby while sharing a sweet story about how the mom- and dad-to-be learned the news.

Jana and Allan are expecting a baby boy.
The soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. updated fans on the latest episode of Jana's show.
"We did the early blood work to check all the stuff and check the gender," Jana explained. "And then I had a scan. I had to go check on that fibroid when I was in Los Angeles filming, and we did the anatomy scan."
This is so exciting!
The reveal was a shock for the expectant mama.
Jana shared a teaser about the big reveal on Sunday, showing a video of her and Allan reacting to the happy news.
She told listeners how she "was convinced it was a girl," so the news that she was actually carrying a son threw her for a loop! Despite the surprise, it's clear both she and Allan are over the moon.
It was a struggle to keep from spoiling the news.
Jana struggled to keep herself from letting the cat out of the bag because she said she revealed the results while Allan was still in England with his 16-year-old son from a previous relationship.
She said she went back and forth about opening the envelope containing the sex but was happy she ultimately decided to wait until they were together.
We're glad she waited, too.
Holding out until they were together was obviously the right choice based on the way the pair reacted in the video. Plus, it allowed them to plan something special together for their other children.
"The kids are super excited," she revealed. "I wanted another girl, I never had a sister so I kind of wanted Jolie to have a sister, but I think with Jace's age and then having a boy, they'll be good growing up together."
Jana added that her daughter is excited to "boss around the boys."

We're excited for Jana and Allan.
It sounds like Jana is in for one heck of a year. She revealed that her estimated due date falls on her 40th birthday! Don't worry, though: Jana has no plans to celebrate from the hospital room.
"We're going to deliver a week and a half before," she shared, explaining how she will be delivering via a scheduled C-section.
