Jana Kramer Admits She Got Breast Implants Hoping Ex Mike Caussin ‘Wouldn’t Cheat’ on Her Anymore

It’s been nearly four years since Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin went their separate ways, but before their divorce, the couple was open about how his repeated cheating had affected their marriage. Her life has changed a lot since then, but on this week’s episode of her Whine Down podcast, Jana reflected on a big change she made to her body that she’s since discovered wasn’t actually for herself at first.

Jana opened up about plastic surgery she’s undergone in the past.

When Jana’s guest, Kristen Brust, brought up wanting to get a breast reduction, Jana opened up about her own procedure: her breast implants. While pointing out the importance of wanting cosmetic surgery for your own self-confidence, Jana admitted that wasn’t what she’d done when she went under the knife – at least, not right away.

“My biggest regret with my boobs is that I don’t know if I solely did it for me,” she said. “And I think that’s what I could say would be my biggest piece of advice is it has to be 100% for you.”

She admitted that she’d had surgery at least partially for her ex.

After seeing the women Mike was cheating with, Jana said she believed she needed to look more like them.

“I was in a marriage that a husband was cheating all the time, and I would see the women that he was cheating with, and I’m like, ‘I look nothing like them,'” she said on the podcast. “So when I was presented with it, I thought about it for a while, like, ‘Maybe if I had bigger boobs, he wouldn’t cheat, or he’d find me sexier or something like that.’” 

Eventually, she was able to be happy with the work she had done for herself.

“After the two kids, they just sagged really bad, and so, certain things just didn’t go back to looking the same. So people would look at them and be like, ‘oh my goodness,’ and so I felt gross,” she admitted. “Obviously, I loved it. I had a lot of fun with them post-divorce.”

Jana and Mike share two children, Jolie, 9, and Jace, 6. She’s also mom to 15-month-old Roman, whom she has with her current husband, Allan Russell.

Jana and Mike are still on good terms.

As they continue to co-parent Jolie and Jace, Mike and Jana seem to have gotten into a good place in their relationship. In November, he even joined Jana and Allan on her podcast, where he talked about the child support payments he’s hoping he can eventually relieve his ex-wife from making to him.

“I have my goal [that] by a certain time, I’m going to show up and have a paper from my lawyer signing over, like, ‘Hey, this is not your legal obligation anymore,’” he said on the podcast. “That’ll be the most freeing moment for me, like, ever in the history of Mike and Jana. So, no part of me enjoys it at all. I hate it.”
