Dating can be a pretty awkward process, especially when you're just starting to get to know someone after meeting for the first time — and apparently, not even NFL stars can escape that awkwardness. During a new podcast appearance, former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce shared the embarrassing moment that happened during his second date with now-wife Kylie Kelce – and why her reaction to what happened is what first tipped him off that there was something "different" about her.

Jason and Kylie first met via Tinder.
While appearing on The Pivot podcast this week, Jason said Kylie was "the most beautiful person" he'd ever seen on the app, and he only liked her more after they started talking.
Their first date was kind of a bust, so Jason felt like a lot was riding on the second date – and that's when his embarrassing moment happened.
They decided to go ice skating together.
Unfortunately, the rink is where disaster struck.
"I know I embarrassed myself on the second date too, because we’re going ice skating and I’m tying my skates and the moment I sit down, a fart squeezed out. Not good, and luckily she laughed at that," Jason said.
Kylie wasn't too fazed by what happened.
They ended up laughing about it together.
"And I’m not a repetitive farter, but it was so embarrassing and she laughed, and I was like, ‘Alright, we’ll be fine.’ If she can laugh, we’ll be good,'" he said.
As we now know, they were good — and this was one of the moments early on that told Jason there was something "different" about the woman who would eventually become his wife.

He called Kylie his 'anchor.'
"If there’s one thing that keeps me grounded and keeps me knowledgeable of who I am, she’s the anchor that anchors the whole thing" he said. "I’m very fortunate that I have her in my life and that I get to take advantage of somebody who is so supremely confident in who they are."
A decade later, they've built a life together.
Ten years have passed since that second date, and now, Kylie and Jason have been married for six years and share three daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett.
It just goes to show that all hope isn't lost if something embarrassing happens on one of those first dates. The relationship could still go the distance!
