More than a month after Jason and Maddie Duggar tied the knot, they’re sharing a sneak peek at their wedding footage. Even though it looks like it was a beautiful day spent surrounded by their friends and family, some fans seem to believe it wasn’t the dream come true that many people imagine their wedding will be. Instead, people are suspecting that Maddie actually wasn’t a happy bride at all.

The video appeared on Instagram this week.
In the video, shared by Maddie and Jason’s wedding videographer, Ben Stachura, we can see clips from their big day set to Ritchie Valens’ song “We Belong Together.” The video has all the dreamy wedding day vibes, and it almost looks like these are clips from a movie, not a real wedding.
There’s just one problem, though: People aren’t convinced the blushing bride was actually enjoying herself.
Most of the clips of Maddie don't show a grinning bride.
In a comment on the Instagram post, one person wrote, “she doesn’t look very happy. And she’s the bride. Odd.”
That wasn’t the only person to pick up that vibe from the video, either. Another commenter wrote, “Does she look a lil peeved about being filmed or is she attempting to look sultry without the experience or definition of the word?”
Critics on Reddit weren't convinced that either of them was happy.
In one post on a popular Duggar-related subreddit, many commenters seemed to think that neither of them seemed happy in the video.
“Imagine being married 15 seconds & already over his s—. She’s in for a long tough ride,” one person wrote. Another commented, “He looks so depressed and not into it in all of the wedding photos that I’ve seen.”

It hasn't been smooth sailing for this couple.
While telling the story of how they met on social media in an interview with People last month, Jason admitted that the beginning of their relationship wasn’t easy.
“We had a lot of hard times in the beginning, but then we really became each other’s best friends and it just kind of built from there,” he said. “The journey is what has shown us that we are just perfect for each other. We’re opposites in a lot of ways, but yet we have, I think, a common goal.”
Hmm …
Hopefully, this video isn't an indicator of how these two truly feel about each other.
It’s hard to judge their wedding day from this very short preview, so maybe the full video will be a bit more revealing when it comes to what their wedding was actually like.
Besides, even after keeping up with the Duggars for so long on reality TV and social media, we don’t really know what Jason might have been thinking on his wedding day. Hopefully, only happy thoughts about his bride.
