When Jed and Katey Duggar announced they were expecting twins, it was a Duggar grandchild first. Making it even more special, Jed and his brother, Jeremiah, are twins. And recently, Katey shared new bump photos as she reached a major milestone in her pregnancy.
As a refresher, Jed and Katey said, "I do" in April 2021 after a quiet courtship and engagement. They welcomed their first child, a son named Truett, in May 2022, followed by a daughter, Nora, almost exactly a year later in May 2023. In July, Katey and Jed revealed they had twins on the way but haven't shared any bump updates since — until now.

On Instagram, Katey shared a 22-week pregnancy update.
Katey took to her and Jed’s joint Instagram account on September 15 with an update on her twin pregnancy. “Made it to 22 weeks!” the expecting mom declared. “Now to survive and thrive through the many more ahead .”
She included a trio of playful bump photos.
In the featured image, Katey flashed two peace signs (likely representing 22 weeks) while seemingly exclaiming in celebration. The pregnant mom wore an olive green dress with a multicolored long-sleeved undershirt while posing in front of a brick wall. For the second photo, she smiled while turning slightly to the side and cradling her growing bump. The final picture showed Katey with double peace signs again but this time, the camera focused on her hands.

In the comments, Instagram users couldn’t get over how beautiful Katey looked in her bumpdate photos. Duggar family friend Carlin Bates declared, “Glowing ✨,” while a fan echoed, “Katey is glowing .”
“ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL TOO !! ,” someone else exclaimed.
“Mama looks beautiful ,” yet another follower wrote.

Jed and Katey shared a dual pregnancy announcement and gender reveal in July.
On July 18, Katey and Jed hit their Instagram followers with a double-whammy update.
“We are overjoyed to announce that we have twin girls on the way!” the post read. “As a twin myself, I’m especially thrilled to welcome these double blessings into our family! The bond between twins is truly special, and I can’t wait to see them grow and experience life together.”
Meanwhile, a carousel of photos showed Jed and Katey popping black balloons that released pink confetti, and a YouTube video revealed they were having twin girls.
In their post, they shared they were 'excited' to 'see the fun and love multiply.'
“Our children, Truett and Nora, have no idea just how much their lives are about to change with the arrival of their new sisters,” the Instagram message continued. “We’re excited to watch their bond as siblings grow and to see the fun and love multiply in our home! This new chapter will bring endless joy and shared adventures for our whole family!”
Jed and Katey concluded, “We appreciate all of your prayers and support as we prepare for this wonderful new part of our family’s journey.”
