Fans have witnessed Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans go through a lot of ups and downs with her 15-year-old son, Jace, but now, their rocky relationship appears to have taken a scary turn. Over the weekend, Jenelle called police to her Las Vegas home, claiming Jace was “smashing everything in the house.”
Jenelle’s call to 911 has been released.
In the call that Jenelle made to 911 on Saturday, which was obtained by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, she can be heard frantically telling the dispatcher that she needs the police to come to her home.
“My son is smashing everything in the house,” Jenelle said. “I need a police officer to come here right now … there’s debris of broken doors everywhere. He picked up the cage, the dog cage, and f—ing threw it.”
After giving the dispatcher Jace’s information and description, she confirmed that drugs and alcohol weren’t involved. When asked if he had any weapons, Jenelle replied, “Not that I know of.”
She said Jace was trying to leave the house.
After Jenelle told the dispatcher that Jace was trying to leave the house, she was told to let Jace know that if he does leave, the police have his description, and that she should call back if the situation escalated.
The call ended there, but it seems clear from the audio that Jenelle was pretty distressed over the situation.
Police were unable to locate him.
According to the dispatch notes from the incident that were also obtained by The Ashley, when police arrived at Jenelle’s home, Jace was nowhere to be found. Jenelle asked them to find her son and put a 72-hour hold on him, but they were unable to do that because he hadn’t threatened to hurt himself or others. Ultimately, the police weren’t able to find Jace, and Jenelle hasn’t shared any information publicly about what happened.
This isn’t the first time this has happened.
Back in October, Jenelle called 911 for a very similar incident, when she also said Jace was “smashing everything in my house” after they’d gotten into a fight when Jenelle took his pocketknife away. At the time, Jace was temporarily removed from Jenelle’s home, and CPS followed up with her younger children, Ensley and Kaiser.
More recently, Jenelle’s ex August Keen claimed that she made Jace drive her around when she was “drunk and high” and unable to drive herself, even though Jace doesn’t have a driver’s license or learner’s permit.
