Just when fans finally thought the beef between Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Lowry had been left in the past, a new spat has brought us all back into the fray. This time, the former Teen Mom costars seem to be going at it over an off-handed comment Kail made about getting her son's ears pierced.
The MTV stars are going at it on social media.
Trouble started brewing over the weekend when Kailyn posted a video of herself taking her son Lux to get his ears pierced. The 5-year-old appeared cute and eager in the clip, which Kail shared with her 37 million followers.
Apparently, Kail left the appointment with some new bling herself after Lux asked her to get her ears pierced before he'd sit down for his turn … how sweet!
A fan commented how funny it was that Kail made the trip on the same day that Jenelle did.
There must've been something in the Teen Mom water, because Jenelle also took her son Kaiser out to get his ears pierced on Saturday.
One person pointed out the similarities to Kail. It seems like she might not quite be over her old feud with her former costar, because Kailyn had a not so subtle message about which mom was first in line at the piercing booth.
Kail had the receipts to prove she wasn't copying Jenelle's idea.
It may seem like a silly thing to worry about, but we guess that when bad blood runs as deep as it does between these two, everything seems important, which is why Kail quickly shared proof that she did it first.
Her followers quickly came to her defense, saying that Jenelle wasn't "the only person in the world" who was allowed to get their kids ears pierced on a Saturday.
Jenelle caught wind of the comments and shared her thoughts on Instagram.
In Touch Weekly magazine reported that Jenelle sent a message directly to Kailyn through her Instagram Stories, and boy was it a doozy!
"We parent differently. Stop being a b—- to the world," Jenelle wrote in the since-expired story. "This is why no one can be your friend."
Harsh!
We doubt Kail is going to take the bait.
The Teen Mom star has been focused on starting a podcasting empire and growing her own brand, so we doubt she has time to get into a shouting match over the internet with Jenelle.
Plus, it seems like the fans are the ones stirring up trouble to begin with. These two seem like they're both satisfied to leave well enough alone now that they hardly ever have to cross paths in the real world.
