It’s been years since Jenelle Evans‘ main source of income was reality TV, but it looks like she’s doing just fine without the Teen Mom cameras in her life. This week, Jenelle revealed how much she’s made from OnlyFans in four years. Not only did she shock the friend she was chatting with at the time, but she’s also left fans completely baffled by how high this number actually is.
Jenelle shared the magic number during a live stream.
As Us Weekly reported, during a live stream with her longtime friend Tori Rhyne while the girls were hanging out in Las Vegas, Jenelle shared that she’s earned over $1.5 million since she opened her OnlyFans account.
Tori was completely speechless at first, finally saying, “David, you f—ing fumbled the bag, bro. You’re a millionaire.”
However, she doesn’t get to keep all of the money she makes.
Of course, Jenelle has to pay taxes on that money — and OnlyFans will take their cut, too, which is about 20% of her earnings including subscriptions and tips, according to SocialRise.
Still, she’s making a lot of money even when you take those deductions into account, so it’s no wonder that Jenelle hasn’t been too concerned about losing her reality TV career.
She has also had to share her wealth with ex David Eason.
Earlier this month, Jenelle told Us Weekly that now that her divorce from David is final, she has had to split the assets that were shared in their marriage — regardless of who was the one footing the bill.
“Unfortunately, North Carolina is a 50/50 state and even though I paid for the majority of our assets, they had to be divided regardless,” she said. “I don’t think a lot of people put that into perspective when getting married, and they definitely should. Prenups should be more accepted into society in my opinion.”
Fans aren’t impressed, though.
Jenelle may have a rather fat bank account these days, but Teen Mom fans aren’t especially impressed by it, judging by what they’re saying about her OnlyFans payday on Reddit.
“She has nothing solid to show for it,” one person wrote.
Another commenter added, “If this is true, it’s really sad that she’s made all that money and still has nothing to show for it. She’s ‘made 1.5 million’ and yet she doesn’t travel (Hawaii, Costa Rica, Tulum, etc) she only travels within the states and honestly the activities don’t look too exciting. The kids all look like they’re wearing old, ill fitting clothes. She has no real estate, no tangible assets — except for a sinking house that still not paid off.”
They added, “It’s amazing to me that she could make so much and have so little.”
