There are many things about the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show that mimic real life events in the news and in politics in general. The series even features a period of time where the anchors deal with working during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fictional reporters even cover the fictionalized storming of the Capitol. When Morning Show star Jennifer Aniston had her on-show love interest compared to Elon Musk, though, she wasn’t thrilled with that particular real life comparison.
Although the series is often quick to make art imitate life, Vanity Fair reported that Aniston was none too pleased to have John Hamm, who plays her billionaire love interest, compared to the SpaceX CEO.
Apparently, Aniston does not see in Musk what his four confirmed baby mamas do. In fact, judging by the reported interview, any connection between Musk and her on-screen romance is totally invalid.

During her Vanity Fair interview, Aniston honestly spoke about treading carefully when using real-life events, such as the 2024 election and Donald Trump’s win, and instilling them into the fictional world on the show.
When it came to a question about Musk being in the show in a roundabout way as Hamm’s character, Aniston wasn’t so careful with her response.
“I don’t find him desirable in any way or shape,” she told the outlet. Musk did not publicly reply to her statement, but some users on X (formerly Twitter) shared how much they agree with Aniston’s sentiment. Well, sort of.
One user once posted on X in a statement directed toward Musk and wrote, “You look like a piece of pizza that was pulled off of the hot pavement.”
Another user used their X post as an opportunity to take a jab at other tech billionaires along with Musk. They wrote, “If Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos all hadn’t been so physically unattractive in their 20s, the world would be a much less dismal place.”
Elon Musk has dated celebrities before.
Just because Aniston does not find Musk remotely attractive or appealing in any way, it doesn’t mean he hasn’t pulled some high profile partners in the past. In 2016, he dated actress Amber Heard.
He also has two kids with singer Grimes, and actress Talulah Riley. He also has nine kids with different four women with apparent plans for more kids.
OK, so having kids with multiple women does not make Musk a solid catch as far as male partners go. But despite Aniston’s assessment of him, Musk managed to appear somewhat charming to some women at different points in his life. These days, however, the DOGE head has not been as lucky with love.
But we aren’t here to decide if that’s because Aniston’s comments about Musk are true and the reason for that.
