At age 56, Jennifer Aniston is known for maintaining a youthful appearance. In questioning how exactly she does it, some have assumed that plastic surgery might be her secret. During a recent interview, however, the Friends star suggested that it actually has more to do with her “mindset.”
During a Q&A with Glamour, a reporter told Jennifer that her Morning Show co-star Marion Cotillard complimented her for how she has “evolved and aged so gracefully.” Of course, Jennifer was flattered by this. She also loves that she can help inspire and empower other women, especially because she didn’t have “those kind of role models growing up.”
Commenting on how she has managed to “age gracefully,” Jennifer said she has “an eternal fountain of optimism and positivity.”
“Call it youth if you want,” she told the publication. “But I think it all starts with how we love our bodies and love where we are.” However, she went on to clarify that this doesn’t mean it’s just happened naturally. She admitted that looking the way she does requires effort (and more than just an optimistic attitude).
“I’m not going to say I don’t get the facials and the lasers and all that good stuff,” Jennifer added. “I mean, I’m maintained. I’m not going to just go down and let these gray hairs take over. So it’s perspective, and also knowing that this is our one body. It’s a mindset.”
Previously, Jennifer admitted to getting weekly peptide injections and trying a “salmon sperm” facial. She has also been accused of getting more work done. In March 2024, she was reportedly seen leaving a plastic surgeon’s office, per Page Six. Additionally, Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan has accused Jennifer of getting a bilateral facelift. But so far, the actress has not admitted to having any major cosmetic procedures done.
