It's been a long time coming, but Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finally found a home of their own. The lovebirds have been house hunting for two years, proving that this wild real estate market is hard for everyone. Fortunately, their quest is reportedly over and they've entered into escrow on a stunning property.
Ben was spotted touring the property with Jen and two of their children.
The father of three was in full blown dad mode over the weekend while he and Jen were photographed at their new home with Seraphina, Emme, and Max.
The teens gave the property a test run — the Daily Mail says Ben watched the two kids as they skateboarded around — and the grownups appeared to be having a blast imagining their future living under one big roof.
There should be plenty of room for everyone.
TMZ reports that the Los Angeles-area home is in the elite Pacific Palisades neighborhood (hence the price tag) and comes with seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. It also sits on an acre of property, which the media outlet says is uncommonly large for the area.
It also boasts a screening room, wine cellar, and a health spa. Fancy!
The blended family should be happy here.
Bennifer's new digs also come with a swimming pool, which will be great for their combined five children.
Ben has three kids — 17-year-old Violet, 14-year-old Seraphina, and 10-year-old Samuel — from his marriage to Jennifer Garner.
J.Lo will be bringing her children along as well — 14-year-old twins Max and Emme — who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
This seems to put to rest theories the couple are headed for a breakup.
People were convinced that Ben and Jen's relationship was doomed before they'd even hit their one-year wedding anniversary after Ben was spotted looking pretty glum at the Grammys.
Unfortunately, he got the Sad Ben Affleck meme treatment again, with people sharing photos and clips from the musical awards show all over the internet.
This purchase must be a sign that things are going better than fans thought.
All may just be well in the Affleck household, despite rumors to the contrary. We love a good second chance romance, and this couple is definitely living proof that sometimes things can work out in the long run.
Congrats to the family on their new place. Here's hoping they'll create tons of great memories there.
