After all the drama surrounding Roloff Farms, these two found a way to make their dream happen without it. This week, Audrey and Jeremy Roloff announced they bought a farm of their own, and it seems to be a lot different from the one he grew up on. Where there's a will, there's a way!
They shared the big news on Sunday.
"After a two-year search spanning all over the state of Oregon … IT. IS. TIME," Audrey wrote alongside a video of their new property. "We bought a farm! And look what’s in our backyard. Yup, that’s our trestle."
The story of the trestle is that it's where a lot of Audrey and Jeremy's relationship milestones have taken place — including where he proposed to her and where the couple shot the cover of their book, A Love Letter Life.
They have a lot of work to do.
Audrey went on to admit that even though the property does need some work, it's something she and Jeremy (who frequently do DIY projects together) are looking forward to.
"We’ve got a lot of work to do to bring our vision to life, but Jer and I are excited to finally have some space to get our feet dirty (literally) and bring our dreams of using land into reality," she continued in her post.
The farm is a seriously impressive property.
According to The Sun, their new property cost $1.5 million and includes four acres of land along with a house with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Audrey and Jeremy made the purchase final in May, and it's less than a 10-minute drive from Roloff Farms.
Interesting …
Farm life has been a point of contention between Matt Roloff and his sons.
It was shocking to find out that Matt had put part of Roloff Farms up for sale in early May: We'd always assumed that it would go to his family when he was ready. But as we've learned on Little People, Big World this season, Matt was actually unable to reach a deal with his son, Zach, and Audrey and Jeremy have confirmed in the past that the same happened with them.
Zach and Tori have moved to a new home in Washington instead, and it looks like this farm is Audrey and Jeremy's plan B.
Here's hoping Audrey and Jeremy share photos of their new farm soon.
We can't wait to find out all the details and how the stars aligned so that this property — which included a landmark so important to the foundation of their marriage — could be theirs.
Congrats on the new home!
