Jessa Duggar’s New Confession Has Critics Saying Her Life Looks More Miserable Than Ever

Critics have been suspecting that Jessa Duggar is more unhappy with her daily life than ever lately, and now it seems like there’s one more reason to add to the list. Over the weekend, Jessa made a surprising confession about a major lifestyle change she’s had to make lately while raising her six kids, and it’s included giving up something she loves. Hasn’t she been through enough?!

Jessa revealed she hasn’t had coffee in four months.

Sadly, she hasn’t even been able to enjoy a coffee in 4 months!

A new post on Reddit included a screenshot taken from Jessa’s Instagram Stories where she’d told her followers, “I haven’t had coffee since my birthday, Nov 4th!”

Though the screenshot itself didn’t offer much context, fans who had seen her Stories post live filled in the blanks. Apparently, her youngest child, Edward, who she’s still breastfeeding, has a sensitivity to dairy, and Jessa would rather skip coffee altogether than drink it without her favorite creamer. That’s a huge sacrifice to make, but it’s something moms do all the time for their babies — even if it’s at the cost of their caffeine habit.

Still, missing out on this little luxury has some of her critics even more concerned for her wellbeing. One commenter wrote, “I’m so glad her life is not my own. For me, there would be very little joy.”

Recently, her social media posts have been a bit concerning.

In fact, last week, critics aired their concerns in a similar post when Jessa shared a video on Instagram about appreciating the chaotic moments with her kids before they grew up — something that many people took as a sign that she is struggling to be happy in her life.

Now knowing that she can’t have coffee either isn’t exactly helping anyone worry less about what her state of mind must be like these days.

Life without coffee must be a real bummer for Jessa

Life raising six young children is hard, especially when one of them is still under a year old, and especially when she’s doing it all without coffee. Props to her for keeping her energy up all day!

Besides, Jessa has never been shy about sharing her love of coffee on social media (just like many of her sisters have), so she’s not just missing out on the energy boost — she’s also missing out on being able to enjoy one of her favorite things, which can be really hard when you’re in the thick of parenthood.

If it has to do with Edward’s allergies, then at least she knows this is a temporary change. She’ll get her coffee back soon, and hopefully her sacrifice is making a big difference for Edward and his tummy so she knows it’s all worth it.
