Pregnant Jessie J’s New Video Shows Rough Realities of the First Trimester — Puking & All

Anyone who has ever experienced some of the more severe symptoms during the first trimester of pregnancy is feeling Jessie J right now. The singer recently announced she was expecting after suffering a miscarriage in 2021. She's letting fans take a candid peek at what she's been going through over the past few weeks, and she's not holding back.

The expectant mama shared a montage of her most recent pregnancy symptoms.

Jessie let her 12.4 million followers see what has been going on behind the scenes as she worked her way through the first 12 weeks of her pregnancy.

"I was warned about that first trimester and it was WOOFY WOOF," she captioned the short clip that showed everything from mood swings to full on puke attacks.

She announced her surprise pregnancy just two days before sharing the clip.

On January 6, Jessie delighted fans by sharing another montage, although, this one contained far less morning sickness.

The video started off with a positive pregnancy test revealing that she was one or two weeks along and followed her through the past few weeks as her growing baby bump became more visible as time went on.

This has been an emotional time for the pop star.

Jessie's caption really highlighted just how many ups and downs she's been through over the course of her pregnancy.

"I am so happy and terrified to finally share this … please be gentle with me," she wrote. "Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked."

We hear that!

She has reason to be feeling all the emotions right now.

As anyone who has ever lost a pregnancy can tell you, getting that positive test after a miscarriage can be a hard thing to come to terms with. We know just how hard that loss was for Jessie when she gave a completely raw interview about it on Steven Bartlett's The Diary of a CEO podcast.

"I felt like I'd been given everything I'd ever wanted and then someone had gone, 'But you can't have it,'" she said at the time. "When I got home that night and I lay there, I've never felt so lonely in my life … I just remember laying there, knowing it was still there, but it wasn't there."

Fans have rallied around her with support.

While she may be on the struggle bus at this part of her pregnancy, she has no shortage of people offering her encouragement.

"The first is a STRUGGLE!" one person wrote. "Thankfully the second is MUCH better. You're doing amazing Jess!"

We hope the fact that Jessie recently shared her pregnancy news means that she's cleared the hurdle of the first trimester and is well on her way to the sweet spot that is the second.

We also hope that nausea and morning sickness phase has passed. Life really does start getting easier once that's behind you, Jessie!
