Jill Duggar May Have Pulled Her Kids From Public School After Rebelling Against Parents

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard drew praise in 2020 when she revealed she was breaking with Duggar family tradition and enrolling her oldest child in public school. Now, it appears that Jill's pulled back on giving her kids broader exposure to the world at large and instead has decided to homeschool, disappointing fans who thought she was finally getting away from her uber-strict upbringing.

Jill has apparently had a change of heart.

Jill doesn't appear to be sending her kids off to school these days. As Cheat Sheet has pointed out, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that her Instagram has been devoid of any chatter about what could be going on in the classroom with her kids.

Derick and Jill share three children: 7-year-old Israel, 5-year-old Samuel, and 8-month-old Frederick.

It seemed as if Jill was going to break with the family's tradition of homeschooling.

When Israel was ready to head off to school, Jill eagerly signed him up to attend a local public school with his peers.

It appeared she would continue to do so, especially after making such a public break from her family, who she's been mostly estranged from for years. But now she seems to be following in the same path as her parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar — at least in the education department.

Michelle is the only one of the Duggars to attend public school.

Unlike her husband Jim Bob, Michelle attended a public high school where, by all accounts, she lived a fairly typical teenage life.

Once she hooked up with her husband, however, she began to step away from the traditional educational format and instead decided to homeschool all 19 of her children. It was a decision that was passed down in the younger Duggar generations, with all but Jill following suit with their kids.

Fans have grown suspicious about Jill's teaching methods after noticing her Instagram activity.

Jill hasn't come right out and said that she's pulled her kids from the public school system — or more accurately, failed to enroll them after their big move for Derick's new job — but fans can't help but notice that Jill hasn't mentioned school at all while simultaneously posting about taking her two older children out during the hours they would normally be seated at their desks.

There may be another answer for Jill's unusual Instagram activity.

Jill has had a lot going on over the past few years, including her brother Josh Duggar's high-profile court case. Much like many of her siblings, she doesn't actually post that much about her kids these days and tends to keep their faces hidden when she does offer her followers updates.

It's possible that the mother of three just isn't talking about their schooling because she's trying to shield them a bit from the public eye.

As for her odd posting hours? Well, as a busy new mom with a baby at home, maybe the only time she has to share those pictures is while her older two are at school.
