Jill Duggar grew up with very restrictive parents, but her own kids are getting a much different childhood. Recently, Jill allowed her son to do something she would have been forbidden from as a kid. We wonder what Jim Bob and Michelle will think of this!

Jill shared new photos of her oldest sons.
In the photos, 8-year-old Israel and 6-year-old Samuel are jumping up and down on the bed and lounging around in their new PJs (and looking adorable in the process).
But a detail in one photo has people raising an eyebrow …
In one photo, we can see Samuel wearing a temporary tattoo.
As The Sun pointed out, it's easy to see that he has a temporary tattoo on his arm — something so simple that plenty of kids get a kick out of, but also something that would never have been allowed in Jim Bob and Michelle's ultra-strict home.
Jill has been doing things her own way for a long time.
Whether she was sending her son to public school — something else her parents never did with their own children — or getting a nose ring, Jill's become quite the rebel!
And after her participation in Amazon Prime Video's docuseries Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, it's more clear than ever that she has no plans of taking any pages out of Jim Bob and Michelle's book when it comes to raising children.
Soon enough, Jill will be displaying another act of defiance.
Her tell-all book, Counting the Cost, will be hitting shelves in September, and there is no doubt it's going to be a rather controversial one — at least, in the eyes of her parents, who weren't exactly impressed with her participation in the docuseries.
"I cried and prayed over it. It’s been an emotional journey and one that wasn’t easy for me to write about," Jill admitted on Instagram this week.

She seems to be such a fun mom to her kids.
Israel, Samuel, and baby Freddy are lucky to have her as she navigates a life as an adult and mother that is so much different than the one she grew up with — and gives her kids a childhood that is practically unrecognizable compared to her own.
We're counting down the days until we can get our hands on that book!
