Jinger Duggar Says She Didn’t Plan To Choose the Same Baby Name as Kylie Kelce

Two celebrity moms happened to welcome their babies just one day apart this week, and somehow, they managed to choose the exact same name! Both Jinger Duggar and Kylie Kelce named their brand-new additions Finn, but according to the former Counting On star, it was purely a coincidence.

Jinger said they ‘didn’t plan’ to use the same name.

On Wednesday, Jinger shared an Instagram post from Kylie’s podcast, Not Gonna Lie, where she talks about how she and husband Jason Kelce arrived at the name Finn for their new baby girl – the couple’s fourth daughter. She arrived one day after Jinger’s baby boy, also Finn, made his entrance.

“Okay, I promise Kylie & I didn’t plan this,” Jinger wrote, adding a laughing emoji.

Jinger’s Finn was born on March 29.

Earlier this week, Jinger announced that her baby boy – her third child with husband Jeremy Vuolo – arrived on March 29, 205, and they’d chosen to name him Finnegan Charles, or Finn for short.

In a YouTube vlog where Jinger shared details from Finn’s birth, she said that she and Jeremy “both just loved” the name.

“I think the name Finnegan was one that Jeremy came up with and once he mentioned it, I was like, ‘Oh, I love that name.’ It’s so strong,” she said.

Kylie’s Finn arrived on March 30.

Kylie shared the first photos of her baby girl, Finnley Anne, on Instagram this week after sharing all of the updates on her pregnancy throughout the first season of Not Gonna Lie.

Because all of Kylie and Jason’s daughters – who include Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett – have gender neutral names, Finn perfectly fits the bill.

Kylie and Jason struggled to settle on the name, though.

On this week’s new episode of her podcast, Kylie explained that it wasn’t easy to name her daughter, calling it a “journey.”

“For the first 24 hours of her life she did not have a name. We had discussed names with anyone that we could trust to not share names,” she said, admitting, “We did not go with a single option we had been discussing.”

She went on to explain that Finn had been a “strong contender” when she and Jason were trying to name Elliotte, who is now 4, so they had to “run it back to the archives.”

“I totally respect your opinion on the names of our children, you’re allowed to have your own opinion, but I actually don’t care what it is,” said Kylie, who is always one to keep it blunt. “And I mean that in the most loving and respectful way.”
