The couple met in 2015.

Jinger and Jeremy met in 2015. According to Us Weekly, Jinger’s sister Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald introduced the two. During a September episode of their podcast, Jinger & Jeremy Podcast, the couple reflected on their first year of marriage.

“I’m looking back 8 years in [and] going, ‘That year was a breeze.’ … But then you [said] last night, ‘No, I think it was the hardest,’ and I think I agree with you,” Jeremy said. “We faced so much adjustment and so much change.”

Jinger added that their challenges had “nothing to do” with them personally and that it was more so “adjustment challenges” on her end.

The biggest change for Jinger was leaving her family behind.

Jinger went on to reveal what made the adjustment so hard for her: “I realized in that time [that] I was afraid to go to coffee with a friend,” she explained, per US Weekly. “I was petrified in fear of having to do things by myself because I had a security blanket of having people around me all the time, whether that was siblings or even a close friend. I was so used to that setting.”

The couple are expecting their third child.

Jinger and Jeremy announced the news on October 16. “A family of five,” Jinger captioned a video post of the moment she read the positive pregnancy test.

In an interview with People, she opened up about how they took the news. “We’re super excited,” she said.  “When she told me, I was literally speechless,” Jeremy added. “She got me good.”
