Joe Rogan has never been one to keep his opinions to himself, and now, his focus has turned to Erika Kirk, the widow of podcaster Charlie Kirk. On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe brought up the “weird CIA films” that Erika appeared in years ago, raising questions about why she would have participated in the videos in the first place… and making comments about her “crazy eyes” in the process.
Erika appeared in what seemed to be a national security video that was filmed years ago, before she was married to Charlie.

As Radar Online pointed out, the footage that Joe mentioned on his podcast showed Erika (then Erika Frantzve), speaking about security warnings that US government officials were facing.
“She was in some weird CIA films, some weird internal films that she was a part of. It is very weird, it’s about EMP attacks and power grids,” Joe said.
Joe is questioning why Erika would be in the videos.
After all, she herself wasn’t a government official, so what would have connected her to this project?
However, there is a chance that the videos aren’t quite what Joe think they are. Earlier this year, the IB Times reported that the clip that has been circulating on social media seems to have come from a documentary called Black Start that Erika participated in, and appears to have been made independently, not in conjunction with any government agencies. It seems it was filmed in 2015 and then released in 2017 — four years before she and Charlie would get married.
He doubled down on Erika’s “crazy eyes,” too.

Plenty of memes have been made about Erika Kirk’s often intense stare, and not only has Joe seen them, but it seems like he also agrees with them.
“She’s an odd duck,” he said. “Have you ever seen the compilation of her making crazy eyes?”
He went on to describe the videos, adding, “There’s a video of her making demon eyes, and every time she makes the eyes, the music goes …”
So far, Erika hasn’t hit back at Joe for his comments — or spoken out about the video clips she appeared in. It’s definitely going to be interesting to see if Joe convinces anyone to see her differently after this, though; after all, he does have a pretty big reach with his podcast.
