Is there a dentist in the house? Johnny Depp has fans in shock after images from the Cannes Film Festival appear to show that the actor's pearly whites have fallen into a state of disrepair. People absolutely roasted the Blow star after his teeth looked brown and rotten during his latest red carpet appearance.

Johnny posed on the red carpet on Tuesday ahead of the premiere of his new film 'Jeanne du Barry.'
With his costar Maïwenne on his arm, Johnny basked in the glow of adoring fans as he made his way into the premiere of his first film since his very messy defamation suit against ex-wife Amber Heard.
It should've been a high moment for the controversial former A-lister, thanks to the rave reviews the film received after its debut, but Johnny couldn't escape a certain stain on his character. No, it wasn't the abuse allegations levied against him by Amber, but instead his teeth.
Fans took to Twitter to share their disgust.
As soon as pictures from the event started circulating, people began talking about Johnny's worrisome smile.
"Johnny Depp's teeth are literally ROTTING," one person posted with an enlarged snap of his enamel.
As the photos gained traction, more people started complaining about the images.
"Just saw a photo of Johnny Depp's teeth and now I need a drink," another wrote.
Critics took the opportunity to dunk on Johnny's new movie while also mocking the state of his teeth.
One person noted that his new flick had debuted with a "Metacritic score of 51," calling attention to the lemon-colored tagging that signified the F rating. "The score is currently as yellow as his teeth," the person wrote. "Congratulations!"
But not everyone was happy to make fun of Johnny's smile. Some people pointed out that dental care is expensive, and while Johnny can obviously afford it, they cannot.
Dental insurance is separate from health insurance, which many people don't have.
On person hopped in the discourse, calling out the comments about how Johnny's teeth "appear to be orange and rotting" saying in part that their teeth were also rotting. "I guess the big stink is he's supposed to be able to afford dental care? But I (and others like me) who can't, y'all ain't talking about us, right?"

Johnny got candid about the state of his teeth in a 1995 interview.
This isn't Johnny's first brush with spotty dental care. In an interview with Premiere magazine, Johnny revealed how he'd had "loads of cavities" in his life. "I had a root canal done eight years ago that's unfinished," he revealed at the time. "It's like a rotten little stub."
Later he remarked how much his chipped chompers meant to him, saying how he appreciates the imperfections in life. "When I see people with perfect teeth, it drives me up the wall," he continued. "I'd rather swallow a tick than have that!"
At least Johnny's stayed consistent all these years. Although, we're hoping by now he's gotten that root canal fixed by now. As much as he appreciates the aesthetic, that cannot feel good!
