Jon Gosselin and his daughter, Hannah Gosselin, have shed some pounds with the help of "base semaglutide,” which is the primary ingredient in name-brand weight loss drugs such as Ozempic. Though they didn't reveal the specifics of the medication they used, Hannah shared that her dad lost more than 50 pounds while she lost 25 pounds. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight correspondent Rachel Smith, the father-daughter duo opened up about their health journey.

They lost over 75 pounds combined.
Jon and Hannah committed to changing their lifestyle in February 2024. Since then, he has lost more than 50 pounds and she's lost 25 pounds. "I feel great," Hannah said. "I'm really happy."
They got their prescription from a rejuvenation center.
The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars were able to get their prescriptions for the base semaglutide by teaming up with Dan Holtz's Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center. Jon also underwent CellSound treatments, which stimulates cells and gives skin a youthful look, along with testosterone adjustments to help with his low levels of that hormone.

They also adopted a workout routine.
Along with the base semaglutide, the father-daughter duo also took on working out daily and making better choices when it came to eating habits.
“When I put on my pair of shorts that I wore two years ago I danced around my room. I was so happy," Hannah shared. "It was the best feeling ever. You probably would not have caught me in a swimsuit last summer. I don’t even think I went to the beach."
Hannah calls her weight loss a 'confidence booster.'
"I have been spending my whole summer at the pool, at the beach, out with my friends," the 20-year-old said. "It really is a confidence booster to know that you look in the mirror and you're happy with the way that you look."
Jon agreed, saying, "I think confidence level. I work out at the beach and sometimes I don't wear a shirt because it's 100 degrees outside now. Before I would just sweat through it, now [I take it off]. I have these things called abs. They just appeared."
They're now 'weaning off' the semaglutide.
"Now that they're both happy with their results, Hannah said that they are "weaning ourselves off of [the semaglutide] and actively changing our lives."
In April, Jon stated, “You know what’s annoying? The regret of not starting it 10 years ago. I feel amazing! Like, why didn’t I do this sooner? Maybe it wasn’t the right time."
