Joseph Duggar Requested Unsupervised Visits With His Kids While Facing Child Molestation Charges

Although Joseph Duggar has yet to be convicted of any crimes relating to his multiple charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim younger than 12 in Florida and lewd and lascivious conduct by a person 18 or older in the same state, he has some demands while out on bail. That’s a $600,000 bail, in case you’re keeping track. According to 40/29 News in Arkansas, Joseph asked for unsupervised visits with the four kids he shares with wife Kendra Duggar.

Until this point, he had been granted supervised visits with his young children. It’s not totally clear if Joseph and Kendra are still living together, or if they are physically separated while their individual legal battles and charges are sorted out. But, despite it all, Joseph reportedly has fatherhood on his mind, and he wants to be able to see his children more.

Joseph Duggar asked for unsupervised visits with his kids.

During a June 2026 hearing, per USA Today, Joseph requested to visit with his kids without supervision. Due to the nature of his charges and alleged crimes, though, a judge did not grant him that request at that time. A month later, it looks like the visitation guidelines continue to be  upheld when it comes to Joseph.

Per 40/29 news, there’s also a no contact order in place regarding Joseph and his four children. And, after Joseph asked to be able to see his children again, the judge ruled against it. WJHG in Florida, where the molestation case is being tried against Joseph due to allegations that he molested a 9-year-old girl in 2020 while on a family trip to the state, reported that Joseph’s attorneys argued that Joseph’d children are not part of this case.

Al Sauline told the judge, “Mr. Duggar is an individual who is the father of his own biological children, and this is causing an issue with him being able to have unsupervised contact’ neither of his biological children are alleged victims in this Florida matter.”

The request was denied.

Kendra Duggar was reunited with their kids.

In Arkansas, both Kendra and Joseph were charged with four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment. In April 2026, however, according to People, she was reunited with her four children, even as Joseph has the order in place that prevents him from seeing the children without supervision present.

At the time, a judge ended a no contact order that was in place for Kendra with her children. At this time, it’s unclear where Joseph is living or how often he is able to visit with the kids. However, he clearly seems intent on amending the orders in place that prevent him from seeing his kids as much as he would like to.

Amy Duggar said she spoke with Joseph Duggar’s alleged victim.

The alleged victim in Joseph’s molestation case has not been publicly named. Joseph’s cousin, Amy Duggar, did share on The Sarah Fraser Show podcast, however, that she spoke to the now 14-year-old child.

“I don’t want to speak for her or anything like that, but I will just tell you when I talked to this person, I just gave her hope,” Amy shared. “I said, ‘This doesn’t have to destroy you. It really truly doesn’t.’ I just tried to offer her encouragement. I told her that if she ever just needed a safe place to talk, that I’m here.”

She added that she hopes the child “finds healing.”
