A Resurfaced ’19 Kids & Counting’ Clip Appears to Show Josh Duggar Sexually Harassing Anna

Fans rewatching old clips from TLC's 19 Kids and Counting have a new perspective since Josh Duggar's conviction. In a recently resurfaced clip that's drummed up a lot of controversy on Reddit, Josh seems to be making sexually inappropriate jokes at his wife's expense, and people are heated over how uncomfortable Anna looks during the short exchange.

Josh seemed to make a poorly timed sex joke during a birthing class.

The clip, which found fresh life in the popular Duggar Snark subreddit, shows Josh and Anna attending a birthing class ahead of the arrival of their first child. During the scene, Josh and Anna are surrounded by other expectant parents and seated on the floor as an instructor guides them through an exercise called the butterfly.

The instructor is explaining how to prepare the muscles for labor and delivery when Josh cracks a gross joke.

Using a soothing voice, the birthing coach tells Josh and others to try to pull the knees of their partners apart while they squeeze their legs shut. She explains that the moms-to-be should feel "resistance all the way down."

"Not too much resistance, though, as I've figured out," Josh says in what seems like a creepy nod to their sex life. "It causes resistance in other areas if you do that."

That wasn't the only time Josh got fresh during the short clip.

Later, in the confessional, Josh seems to give Anna and the camera a knowing look when Anna explains a bit about why the exercise is effective.

"The Butterfly is kind of practicing stretching muscles that normally are not stretched, but will be stretched for labor and delivery," she says as Josh smirked on beside her. "And [it] also helps strengthen muscles that aren’t normally used."

People absolutely roasted Josh for the way he behaved toward Anna.

This subreddit is normally filled with Duggar naysayers, so it wasn't too much of a surprise to see them pile on Josh's on-screen behaviors.

"Ugh the look on his face when Anna was talking about 'stretching muscles that don’t normally get stretched' ew ew ew ew ew," one person posted.

Another person was more concerned about what Josh was implying with his creepy resistance comments. "What do y’all think Josh meant by 'it causes resistance in other areas if you do that?'"

Knowing what we know now, it's hard to look back on any of Josh's old clips without thinking about the heinous acts he was accused of committing and the reason why he's sitting behind bars as we speak.

There's no way of knowing if we just view him in a different light now because of everything that's happened, but it's clear that these old 19 Kids and Counting clips do not age well.
