Even though Anna and Josh Duggar knew their emails would be read by prison officials and would be available to the public, some of the now-leaked emails from 2022 show an inside look at their marriage love never before. In emails that were shared on Reddit and Facebook, Josh wrote to Anna about some pretty intimate goings on in their marital bedroom. And, in return, Anna shared her own desires in emails to her incarcerated husband.
Again, this was all with the knowledge that these emails would be read by a third party. Or, in this case, a third, fourth, and so on, given the internet’s morbid fascination with the emails Josh and Anna exchanged before he left county jail to begin his federal prison sentence in 2022. But, according to Anna in one email, they are a married couple, so what do we expect from their personal emails to each other? I mean, not this. Never this.
The innuendos are strong in the emails between the couple.
In one email Anna wrote to Josh late one night, she said she misses the normal things they would do and experience every evening. This includes “French kissing” Josh, because she had to make sure he knew she meant tongue kissing and not just a casual peck, and surprising Josh with breakfast in bed. What does she miss about him doing for her? Apparently, the “excitement” of having alone time as soon as the kids were tucked in.
“Walking into the bedroom after you come home from work and seeing the sheets perfectly turned down…you have no clue how much it would motivate me to get dinner cleaned up quickly and get the kids to bed,” Anna wrote. “I would start imagining what it was going to be like tonight?!! Right now, I miss it all. I miss the excitement, the fun! You are so tender and respectful of me and who I am, as a person and as your wife. Your respect for me made us like magnets — the closer we get, the stronger the attraction!!! We have such exciting, fulfilling, passionate, and intense sex!”
On Reddit, someone commented in reply to the emails, “Let’s not forget that he was also on that cheater website, claimed he had a porn addiction, and had hired (and abused!) at least one sex worker while they were there. Wasn’t he also seen around the local strip clubs at the time or am I misremembering that? He got a ticket out of Arkansas and used it almost exclusively to be a complete scumbag.”
The emails paint a vivid picture of Josh and Anna’s life together.
In emails that Josh wrote to Anna, he was equally as open about his love and attraction for his wife. As any husband would be, Josh is clearly homesick for his wife in the emails. But it’s hard to feel any kind of sympathy for the guy when you consider the nature of the crimes he was convicted of. Which he still denies in the emails, by the way.
“I CANT WAIT TO BE WITH YOU!” Josh wrote to Anna. “I can’t wait to touch, taste, smell and be with you again. I am so grateful for you and for GOD bringing us together! GOD has given me the desire of my heart = YOU! You are super sexy and when you talk to me it is so hard and I just miss you so much more!”
He added that Anna is “such an encourager.” Maybe he means “tease”? He wrote, “I love seeing your cleavage and that sexy look you give me like you do at home when it’s time for US time — wow! I love you! Keep up the good work and don’t grow weary in well doing!”
Anna wrote to Josh about “taking it up a notch” in the bedroom.
As if the graphic nature of the emails wasn’t enough to make people question why they keep reading the emails to begin with, Anna also wrote in an email to Josh that she still remembers when they apparently took their intimacy to another level. What does that mean for these two specifically? That’s hard to say. But for Anna, apparently, it was a game changer.
“Last year, I remembered taking things up a notch for the first time!” She wrote. “I still remember the nervousness and the bond – Wow! So fulfilling! So beautiful! So perfect! With you away, it’s been difficult and uncomfortable to honestly state my feelings about us because I know we have no privacy. However, WE ARE MARRIED. It’s perfectly normal for couples to have strong sexual attraction for each other, and each other only!”
