On TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, viewers watched Joy-Anna Duggar and her 18 siblings grow up on their TV screens. Fans then witnessed Joy court, get engaged, and marry Austin Forsyth in the spin-off Counting On. Since the show was canceled in 2021, her branch of the Duggar family has continued to grow.
Today, Joy-Anna and Austin have three children. Their oldest, a son they named Gideon, is 6, followed by a daughter, Evelyn, 3. And recently, their youngest, a son named Gunner, celebrated a major milestone that Joy marked with adorable photos on social media.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth's youngest son, Gunner, celebrated his first birthday.
Joy-Anna took to Instagram on May 17 to mark her baby boy's first birthday. "He is the big O N E!" she declared. "We sure do love you, Gunner James Forsyth! "
The mom of three included a carousel of photos featuring the birthday boy sitting in a high chair while digging into a carrot cake. In one of the snaps, Gunner's two older siblings posed with him.
In the comments, Instagram users reacted to the major milestone.
Friends and fans alike joined Joy-Anna in celebrating Gunner's big day.
Duggar family friend, Josie (Bates) Balka, wrote, "Happy birthday!!"
Others were stunned that an entire year had passed since his birth.
Another Instagram user commented, "Happy Birthday Gunner I can’t believe you are one ♥️❤️," while another echoed, "ALREADY????…. Happy birthday ."
"Cannot believe he is 1 already!!!! Happy birthday Gunner!!!" yet another follower declared.

The doting mom also posted photos of herself with the birthday boy.
The following day, on May 18, Joy-Anna returned to Instagram with even more birthday photos of Gunner. In a pair of images, Joy donned a blue dress while smiling and holding her 1-year-old son, who also wore a blue outfit.
For Mother's Day, Joy-Anna shared a rare family photo.
Although Joy-Anna often posts image-centered updates of herself, her husband, and their children, she recently shared a rare family shot. "Mother’s Day 2024 ," she captioned an Instagram snap on May 12. Gideon, Evelyn, and Gunner all cheesed brightly as the entire family rocked their Sunday best.
Plenty of family members and friends responded in the comments.
In the comments, Joy-Anna's BFF Carlin Bates wrote, "Happy Mother’s Day! You look beautiful ."
Her older brother Jeremiah's wife, Hannah, simply commented with a heart-eyed emoji.
Joy's older sister, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald declared, "Beautiful family!."
