Fans of the Duggar family aren’t sure how to react after Joy-Anna Duggar pretended she was in labor and called her husband, Austin Forsyth. The couple are expecting another baby in a few months who will join big brother Gideon and big sister Evelyn, and during a routine appointment, Joy-Anna played a prank on Austin that kind of fell flat.

Since sharing the news that she was pregnant, Joy-Anna has given fans a glimpse into her life as she awaits another little one by sharing snippets on YouTube.

Recently, Joy-Anna posted another vlog-style video that had fans on their toes because it was titled, "CONTRACTIONS! Baby Time already?!"

Joy-Anna was an appointment getting a nonstress test for her baby.

Because Joy-Anna is considered having a “high risk” pregnancy, she explains in the video that for the next six weeks until her due date, she will be getting a few nonstress tests per week, just to make sure all is OK.

In the video, Joy-Anna starts in the car with her two kids in the back seats.

'We made it out of the hospital and everything checked out good and normal,' she explains.

"Baby boy was moving a lot and I was actually having some contractions, which is so crazy. I don't think anything consistent which, the nurse was like, 'That's totally normal to have even this far out from your due date.' But he looks good," she says.

Joy-Anna shared that when she was taking her nonstress test with her two kids in tow, she called Austin and decided to play a little prank on him.

She asks him, 'Hey, you ready to have a baby?'

Joy-Anna continued, sharing more about the prank she played.

“I said, 'I'm in the ER.' He was like, 'What?'" she says, knowing that Austin would likely be confused — and probably worried — because she’s still got several weeks before she’s due.

Joy-Anna then shared a short clip of the prank.

Because she was at an appointment, it looked very much like she could have been at the hospital.

The video then cuts back to Joy-Anna, who tells viewers that Austin didn’t fall for her prank.

"I didn't trick him,” she says. “He knew that I was just pulling his leg."

In the comment section of the YouTube video, fans expressed concern for Joy-Anna.

People were particularly thrown off by Austin’s response — not only after the prank Joy-Anna played but also his attitude throughout the video, which also featured some family activities and home renovations the couple were working on.

“Austin is snippy at the beginning and throughout the video,” one fan noticed.

“Why does Austin always seem in such a bad mood,” another person asked. “He always looks angry.”

“Austin seems very stressed/not happy,” someone else added. “Try to think about all your blessings!!!!!”

“I don’t like the way he talks to you,” another person wrote.

Joy-Anna didn’t seem fazed by how her husband interacted with her, and it was only some brief snippets people saw of Austin.

Hopefully the couple can enjoy the last few weeks until their baby arrives!
