Joy-Anna Duggar often shares family updates with fans on social media, but this new one seems to be extra special. It’s not often that we get to see all three of her kids, Gideon, Evelyn, and Gunner, in the same photo, but given the fact that they’re all under the age of 7, it’s no surprise that it’s hard to capture them at the same moment while Mom and Dad are posing, too. During the former Counting On family’s getaway this week, though, they made an exception.
Joy-Anna shared photos from her family’s camping trip.
The family photo came in Joy-Anna’s new Instagram post where she rounded up photos from her family’s week tent camping in Colorado. Swipe over, and you can see it — a big group selfie where everyone’s actually cheesing for the camera, even little Gunner.
Commenters were full of love for the family after seeing the photo, with several people pointing out just how much all three kids look like dad Austin Forsyth more and more as they get bigger. Some did see Joy in their faces, though.
“Your boys look just like you and your daughter is her Daddy! Have fun with those adorable kiddos!” one person commented, while another wrote, “Gideon is Austin, Evelyn is both of you, and Gunner is all Joy! Looks like everyone is having a good time.”
She’s been documenting the trip since they arrived.
Joy’s first video from the trip came toward the beginning of their camping adventure, when Joy shared what a morning at the campsite looked like for them. They ate breakfast, packed up so they could move to a different campsite, and then went out to hike.
Of course, Joy could just be showing us the highlights here, but it does look like this all happened with minimal chaos and drama, despite having so many kids underfoot. We need to know her secrets!
It seems like they all had a great time.
Camping with little ones can definitely seem intimidating, but Joy made it all look so easy. And though their camping fun is over now, it seems like the family is leaving with a lot of great memories (along with that really nice photo of all five of them).
“Tent camping for the week with our 3 kids has been incredible and incredibly exhausting! We have made some of the best memories that will last a lifetime,” Joy wrote.
