Justin Bieber Slammed for Telling Wife Hailey She Would ‘Never Be on the Cover of Vogue’

Hailey Bieber should be busy celebrating her first Vogue cover, but husband Justin BIeber‘s reaction to it is what’s really getting all of the attention. After Justin admitted he never thought Hailey would be featured in the magazine, fans are calling him out – and according to sources close to the controversial couple, it sounds like this kind of behavior toward his wife is nothing new for Justin.

Instead of congratulating Hailey, Justin made her Vogue cover debut about an argument they once had.

Sharing Hailey’s cover in an Instagram post, Justin wrote that the achievement reminded him of a “huge fight” he once had with his wife.

“I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, yikes I know, so mean,” he wrote in the post’s caption. “For some reason because I felt disrespected I thought I gotta get even.. I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection. So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

People haven’t hesitated to call him out.

Considering that Justin simply could have just written “Congratulations” to Hailey, many people are taking issue with his post on what should have been a totally positive day for his wife.

“I can’t believe he not only said this but then admitted he said this,” one person wrote on X.

“I’m horrified for her. She probably was so gutted seeing what he posted and thinking it was going to be a genuine congratulations,” another person shared.

Another posted, “Imagine telling the entire world that you’re a bad husband.”

A source claims Justin often ‘makes Hailey feel bad’ during arguments.

Amid all the backlash, a source told The Daily Mail this is just par for the course when it comes to the way the Biebers interact with each other.

“Justin goes for the low hanging fruit to try to win arguments, to make Hailey feel bad, and it works,” the insider said.

Although Hailey reportedly hopes she can “fix” Justin one day, for the most part, they “love hard, they fight hard, and drama often fuels their every move.”

Justin has since changed the caption on his post.

Even though the Instagram post showing off Hailey’s Vogue cover is still live on Justin’s Instagram, his controversial caption has been removed, with a series of emojis taking its place.

Maybe he would have been much better off if he’d just posted the emojis in the first place?
