Very few celebrities have a rise-to-fame story like Justin Bieber. The singer was discovered from YouTube back when that platform was relatively new. His singing voice and his boyish charm catapulted him to fame, and he's been riding in the A-list lane ever since. We've watched the star grow up over the past several years. Now that he's married to Hailey Baldwin, he's been able to focus on healing from some health issues and getting back to the music he loves.
Justin and Hailey secretly wed in a courthouse wedding in September 2018 and quickly purchased their first Beverly Hills home. The 1930s Colonial-style mansion nicknamed "The Tropics" is an impressive 6,132-square-foot dream home.
With its five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a theater room, and a chef's kitchen, this home needed a new owner after Hailey and Justin sized up to a larger mansion in the same city.
Although this celebrity couple is no longer living here, we've got the photos to take a peek inside the pad the cute couple once called home.
The Outside of the Home
The Tropics was put on the market for a cool $7.9 million. Justin first advertised he was ready to sell the home, furniture included, on Instagram. Later he listed with a real estate agent who could get the home to a new owner.
This Garage
It's a three-car garage plus storage space for this house. It's not uncommon for mansions to have a lot of space for fancy cars the owners drive, and this is no exception. We love that every detail was thought about on the exterior of the home, too. Look at the driveway – it's beautiful, and it's just a driveway.
The Classic Living Room
This room is all about the different textures, and that's a fun way to play with the space while not having it feel too in your face or bold. The giant window lets in so much light, allowing the darker furniture to really stand out. That cozy fireplace is just inviting people to cuddle up on the couch, isn't it?
A Classic Kitchen
So often we see celebrity homes with bright white kitchens, and although that's beautiful, we imagine it's hard to keep clean. We love the muted wood in this kitchen because it serves as a way to brighten the room without the terrible white décor upkeep. It has a really open and calm feel as well.
This Dining Room
There is something really charming about this dining room, because looking at it, the chairs don't match. And that's exactly why we love it. No one really uses formal dining rooms anyway. This allows the space to function like one while infusing a lot of personality into it as well.
A View From Here
It's hard to tell exactly where in the house this is, but what we can see in the photo is beautiful décor everywhere we look. It appears to be taken on the main floor; we can see a blip of the kitchen in one corner. We love how open this space is and what the seating area offers.
The Stairway Down
The stairs down to the basement and the cozy rooms down there feature a fancier staircase than is typical. We love that tropical wallpaper lines one of the sides and that the cute neon sign showcases the nickname they've given to this home.
A Home Bar
When someone works hard, they must carve out space to play hard. Or relax hard if that's more their thing. We love that this bar room, complete with wine storage and seating, has the space and accessories to host a memorable all-night party or an intimate nightcap for two.
Yes, a Home Theater
It's not officially a celebrity mansion unless there's a theater room, right? No need to fight over the best seat in the public theater when stars can just watch a show in extreme comfort at home. Also, the couches are no doubt far more comfortable than typical movie seats.
A Big Lounge Room
Justin shared several photos of his home back when he was playing around with the idea of selling it. This lounge room is massive: Just look at how many places there are to sit on the couch. We could spend hours here binge-watching our favorite TV series and be happy forever.
The Master Bedroom
First, look at the ceiling in this bedroom! Elegance was key in this room, and there's no detail that doesn't have that in mind. We love the fireplace and the chairs to read or hang out, and the windows are perfect. Even the light fixtures make a statement.
A Giant Bathroom
When it comes to bathrooms, they're often more function than something to show off. How many times have we had friends over and gave a home tour that includes that room? Never. But, if we had a giant bathroom like this — with its beautiful marble and all that light pouring in — it might be the first room we choose to show off.
A Mansion-Sized Closet
Yes, this is a massive home, so it's expected to have a walk-in closet that's probably bigger than many of our kitchens. We love the muted wood color, and it's not often we see a closet that has any window — let alone three.
The Home Office
Celebrities have a whole lot going on behind-the-scenes that we rarely get to see. When planning an album, signing on for a new advertising campaign, or working on their own projects, there's a need for an office that's going to accommodate meetings and creativity. This space gives calming vibes, which is exactly what's needed.
Of Course, There's a Pool
This is a truly stunning pool. We've seen plenty in home tours of celebrities, but there's an added level of elegance with this one. We love the black marble and the cozy but upscale sitting area set off to the side. Just imagine the epic parties that could take place at this lovely home.
