Four months after the tragic stabbing attack in the United Kingdom that took lives of three children, the royal family is again reaching out to those who were there that day. Kate Middleton has invited the survivors of the Southport attack, which took place in July at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class, to attend her annual Christmas carol concert.

The palace recently shared that the invitations to the event hosted by Kate are going out.
And now, we know that among those who received one of the beautiful invitations from the video above are the families of the children who survived the Southport stabbing, as Kensington Palace confirmed to People.
Along with the three children who were killed that day, eight other children and two adults were injured.
This year's service is focused on giving back.
“This year, Her Royal Highness wanted to celebrate the many people supporting those in need — individuals who have inspired, counseled, comforted and above all else shown that love is the greatest gift we can receive,” the palace said in a statement. “This theme takes inspiration from the Christmas story, which encourages us to consider the experiences of others and the important human need of giving and receiving empathy.”
With a theme like this, it makes sense that the Princess of Wales would want to include these families who have been through so much this year.
This isn't the first time that Kate has met with those affected by the attack.
In October, Kate joined husband Prince William in spending time with emergency workers who responded to the stabbing. They also met privately with the families of the victims, as well as the dance teacher who was leading the class that day. This marked her first public appearance since finishing chemotherapy treatment.

A source said the royals have been a 'tremendous support' to the survivors.
“The King met the survivors, then Kate took time out to meet them in private last month with Prince William,” a royal insider told The Sun. “Now she has personally ensured everyone is invited to her concert which, this year, will mean more to her than ever before. It promises to be an incredible, life-affirming night and there’s been a lot of organization involved to get it all ready.”
Taylor Swift has also reached out to the survivors and their families.
When Taylor’s Eras Tour made it to London in August, one mom shared footage of her daughters, who had been present at the stabbing, backstage at one of the concerts, where they met Taylor and were presented with bags of merchandise.
There’s no way to truly make up for what those affected by the tragedy have lost, but it seems that Kate is in good company as she tries to make sure they know they’re in her thoughts.
