It’s undoubtedly been a difficult year for Kate Middleton, but it sounds like she’s had the best support in her husband through it all. While meeting with people who gathered to see the royals on Thursday, Kate told a fan that Prince William has been “amazing” as she’s battled cancer, and the precious moment was captured on camera.

Will and Kate spent the day in Wales.
As the Prince and Princess of Wales, where else would they be? They spent the day in Pontypridd just days before the Welsh celebrate St. David’s Day on March 1.
“A great afternoon spent in Pontypridd, enjoying Welsh culture and hospitality and witnessing the power of strong community,” read the Instagram post shared on Will and Kate’s official account.
A sweet moment between Kate and a fan has been shared on social media.
As People reported, multiple fan accounts have shared this clip originally taken by a woman named Ellie Flockton. As Kate greets bystanders who waited to speak with her during her visit, she stops for a longer conversation with one of them.
After someone asked her a question about William, Kate replied, “He’s been amazing.” The person then shared well-wishes for her, to which she replied, “We’ve felt the support from everyone, so it’s meant a lot.”

Earlier in their trip to Wales, Will and Kate shared a video on their official account on X that showed them holding hands as they walked through a train station together. How cute are they?
PDA isn’t usually their thing – it was long established by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip that royals simply didn’t engage in sharing their affection in front of an audience – but lately, Will and Kate seem to have given themselves a bit of leeway on that expectation.
After all they’ve been through, they deserve it. There’s no doubt they’re feeling especially lucky to be working together again.
