Kate Middleton Has Reportedly ‘Turned a Corner’ in Her Battle With Cancer

More than two months after Kate Middleton revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer and would be undergoing "preventative chemotherapy," it sounds like she's making some progress with her treatment. According to what a source close to the royals said this week, Kate has recently "turned a corner," and it's something that those around her are, unsurprisingly, relieved to hear. But does this mean we can expect to see her making public appearances again soon?

The insider said that in recent weeks, Kate has been doing better.

"It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better," a source claiming to be a family friend told Vanity Fair this week. "It has, of course, been a very challenging and worrying time. Everyone has rallied around her — William, her parents, and her sister and brother."

It's still not clear when she plans to return to work.

According to the magazine's royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, any reports that have been released about Kate's supposed return to work aren't true — no official date has been set yet.

At this point, she's not trying to rush things; she simply wants to focus on recovering, as she should. She's been through a lot!

However, Kate will be coming back.

"There is no timeline, and there is certainly no hurry. It will be when Catherine feels ready and when she gets the green light from her medical team," one source said. "But she will 100% be coming back to work, of that there is no question."

This intel seems to have been confirmed by a royal spokesperson.

Though she was part of the report from the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood that was released earlier this month, a Kensington Palace spokesperson told The Daily Mail that it doesn't signify Kate's official return to work.

"This is a clear commitment she has made that throughout her life of public service that this will be focus. That will continue when she returns to work," the aide said. "But we have been really clear that she needs the space and the privacy to recover right now. She will return to work when she has had the green light from doctors."

Now, it seems her health and her family are her main focus.

According to Vanity Fair, George, Charlotte, and Louis are now on break from school, which means the family is heading to their country home, Anmer Hall, which will afford them a bit more privacy (not to mention plenty of fresh air).

Sounds like it will be good for the whole family!
