November 4 was a big night for pop star Katy Perry. It was the final show of her Las Vegas residency, "Play," and she had some very important people in the audience! It was also the first public appearance of Katy’s daughter, Daisy Dove, and the 3-year-old stole the spotlight.
Katy began her residency 'Play' in 2021, and Saturday night was her final show.
After nearly two years of performing this show, Katy wrapped up her residency with a final performance. And her daughter, Daisy Dove, was in the audience to cheer her mom on, along with her fiancé and Daisy’s dad, Orlando Bloom.
As People reported, Katy was getting set to perform “Hot n Cold” when she took a moment to give a sweet shout-out to her daughter.
"Daisy! I love you so much," Katy said in a video captured and shared by a fan on X. "You're my best friend, I'm so glad you're here."
"I'm gonna sing this next song — I think you know it?" she told her 3-year-old daughter, who was dressed in a Minnie Mouse-inspired dress with pink headphones.
It’s the first time Daisy has been seen in public, and what a splash she made.
In the video clips you can hear the crowd’s collective “Awww” when Daisy appeared on screen at her mom’s show.
Another fan-captured clip taken from the show later on shows Daisy dancing with her dad in the audience while Katy performed "Chained to the Rhythm."
As the show was coming to an end, Katy shared a special message of thanks with the audience.
Katy gave thanks to the team behind her show for all the work they put in to make the "Play" residency work. She also shared a special message for her fiancé, calling Orlando “an incredible support system” and “an amazing father.”
Katy shared with the audience that she “created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove.”
"When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up,” she shared. “She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again.”
She concluded, "So this show is for everyone's inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free."
