Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom: How Their Love Came to Be

It's hard to believe that it's been more than four years since Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom first became a couple, but they've come so far since the rumors that they were dating first began to surface in 2016. Though they've certainly had their ups and downs over the years — including a breakup that lasted for months — they've always found their way back to each other in the end. And now, they're planning on spending the rest of their lives together — and they've officially welcomed a baby girl, Daisy Dove Bloom, into the world.

It's hard to keep a relationship going in Hollywood, and Orlando and Katy have done their best to keep theirs strong, even when that means taking a break or having to find ways to stay together when their careers cause them to be far away from each other. So far, there hasn't been an obstacle they haven't managed to overcome together, and hopefully, that only means good things for their future, especially as they're planning their wedding.

Here's a timeline of Katy and Orlando's relationship, from the earliest rumors about their relationship in 2016, all the way up to where they are in 2020, engaged and new parents to a baby girl.

This couple really seems to be good for each other, and now, they're taking on the challenge (and the joy) of raising a daughter together for the first time. It's going to be so much fun to see where this journey takes them in the future, because their story definitely doesn't end here.
