Keith Urban Reportedly Feels ‘Snubbed’ After Daughter Praises Nicole Kidman in New Interview

In the months since the news of Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman‘s divorce went public in September 2025, it seems like there’s been a lot of family drama going on, and now, it sounds like it’s only getting worse. After one of the couple’s daughters, Sunday Rose, gushed about what an “inspiration” her mom is in a new interview, Keith reportedly feels some type of way about not being mentioned at all. Can we assume that Sunday has officially taken a side in this split?

Sunday opened up about her love for her mom in a new interview with Elle Australia.

In Sunday’s cover interview for Elle Australia, the 17-year-old couldn’t say enough positive things about her mother.

“My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do,” she told the magazine.

Later in the interview, Sunday also shared the best piece of career advice she’s learned from her mom.

“The biggest piece of industry advice Mum has given to me is to always be on time,” she said. “There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.”

Keith reportedly considers this a “snub.”

Since Sunday had such positive things to say about her mom and didn’t mention her dad at all, a source close to Keith told New Idea that he feels “numb” about the way his daughter’s interview turned out.

“Keith doesn’t know what to say, but he’s trying to put on a brave front. He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him,” the source said. “It’s like he doesn’t exist.”

The former couple’s daughters are reportedly “resentful” of their dad.

Another source told the Daily Mail that Sunday and her 15-year-old sister, Faith Margaret, are firmly taking their mom’s side in the divorce — especially since she happens to be the parent that they spend the most time with while their dad is on tour. The insider said that both girls, who “have always been very close with their mother,” are actually “hurt and angry on her behalf” that any of this is happening in the first place.

They added, “There’s some resentment against Keith. If they are blaming someone, it’s him not her.”

Still, Keith hasn’t lost all hope when it comes to his relationship with his daughters. The insider said, “He’s hurt, but he feels like he can patch things up. He doesn’t blame Nicole and it doesn’t seem like she’s alienating them from him.”
