Inside Kelly Clarkson’s $7.4 Million Tennessee Mansion

There are some celebrities that we really root for — because they seem like down to earth people — and one of those people, for us, is Kelly Clarkson. We watched her rise to fame, thanks to her gorgeous singing talent when she competed on American Idol, winning the first season. In the 18 years since her victory, Kelly has released music that speaks to our soul, had two adorable babies, became a judge on The Voice, and hosted her own television talk show. She's well-rounded and amazing, but it's not all been roses.

This has been a rough year for so many people. There's a global health issue, an election year full of divide and struggles, and civil unrest all over the country. For Kelly Clarkson in particular, her marriage of seven years to Brandon Blackstock came to an end — and it was a surprise to her. Although she's doing her best to stay positive, some extra levels of family drama — namely Kelly's father-in-law suing her — is keeping her in a negative space longer than she wants.

Along with Kelly's divorce comes selling her two homes. (The homes going on the market were among the tip-offs to the media that something was up with their relationship.) Even though this isn't what she had in mind, Kelly will bounce back, so it's only onward and upward from here. And even though Kelly's Tennessee home isn't going to be hers for much longer now that it's on the market, it's going to make someone really happy. The mansion — which is selling for $7.4 million — is the perfect mix of modern with charm, and we've got photos.

Let's take a peek inside Kelly's Tennessee mansion.

Gateway

With a home this expensive, there is, of course, a gated entryway to keep anyone from getting inside who hasn't been invited. This is a great feature for anyone who has children and wants to provide a space for them to run around. On top of the very expensive gate is professional landscaping to pull the whole look together.

Grand Foyer

This is a foyer that makes a statement! (Who knew that stairs could be so elegant and frame a space so well?) There is a lot of space when family and friends filter in, and all the light makes a super-sized space feel even bigger. Although the wall paint is pretty neutral, there is a lot to look at when it comes to the iron railings.

Large Living Room With an Endlessly Big Ceiling

We know that the decoration in this space isn't going to be something that appeals to everyone. There are many animal heads in here that are likely real, because they look very expensive. But look past them and see all the space and light that fills up this room. It's elegant and gorgeous, thanks to all the windows and the columns.

Dining Room That Makes a Statement

There is so much going on in this room that we can't decide how we feel about it. The back wall is a statement piece that breaks from the plain walls. It makes a far larger impact than a painting or picture, and it's bold and pretty. Also, the oversized chairs have an elegance that bring power to the room – but we're curious how they stay so white with young kids at home.

Very Lovely Kitchen

With a mansion worth so much money — and having so much square footage — we're not surprised to see this very well put together chef's kitchen. We love the unique pale wood cabinets that match perfectly with the neutral-colored tile on the floors. Of course, chef's dream appliances tie it all together.

Another Angle of the Kitchen

The kitchen features a lovely breakfast table where the family can enjoy their cold cereal and the adults a hot cup of coffee. We love the darker wood above the oven, which matches the light fixture and counter on the breakfast island nook. The pot lights make sure there's enough light, and the bar chandelier is an eye-catching piece.

Fancy Breakfast Table

Where is the best place to have a cup of coffee to wake up in the best mood ever? This table looks lovely between the comfiest chairs we've seen in a long time and all the bright windows. The light fixture is an interesting touch because it looks like a birdcage, and it's certainly a unique one.

Reading Room

We're not totally sure what this room would be used for, but we're guessing it's a lovely place to have a morning cup of coffee and to scroll news apps before starting the day. A lot is going on here with the furniture and accessories, similar to the rest of the home that is uniquely Kelly's taste.

Elegant Master Bedroom

Looking into the master bedroom of this home, our eyes go straight toward the ceiling — which is surprising given this room's space — but just look at it. It's elegant and extravagant in the best way, and the chandelier is likely worth more money than we would know what to do with. This room feels fit for royals and offers plenty of space for sweet dreams.

Elegant Bathroom

OK, now this is a bathroom to get obsessed over. It's more like an elegant spa than anything, and we love this so much. There is so much space and so many gorgeous mirrors. (That chandelier and drapery is an extravagance we're here for too.) There isn't a single thing we would change in this room.

Game Room/Bedroom

This is a large room with enough space for custom built-in double bunk beds and a ping-pong table, as well as a couple of gaming chairs. This space could either be the most epic bedroom for one or two kids, or it's the sleepover space in the basement that would be the coolest place to hang out.

The Bar

This is where we get to see some of the country charm from Kelly's home. This bar certainly has some pizzaz, thanks to with the saddle seats and brick walls. It gives off the feel of an old-school saloon where cowboys would go and throw back a hot or two of whiskey, and it's likely a fun place to hang out at the end of a long day.

Lighted Gazebo

Because there is so much space on the property, of course there's a gazebo in the yard. This is such a lovely addition to the space, though we're unsure what it could be used for. We imagine it's a great place to host a summer gathering, and for the kids, it's a fun place to play house. Or perhaps it's an unusued greenhouse?

An Elegant Walkway

The outside of this home screams elegance, and the brick walkway that leads to the outside dining area is no different. It feels like no matter which way we look, it would make a gorgeous backdrop for professional photographs. That's not something we could say at just any property, either. It's beautiful, everywhere — from every plant and every tree, and every perfectly placed light.

Outside Formal Dining Room

When the weather is nice, there's nothing better than enjoying a delicious meal surrounded by wonderful friends under the stars and in the breeze. It seems Kelly Clarkson had this in mind, because she's got a formal dining room outside. It's gorgeous and elegant enough to seem as if it should inside but with a much better view for guests to make memories.

Mansion Vibes

This photo captures a magical place that seems too lovely to believe. (Who knew this amazing mansion and manicured lawn could look even better in the dark?) Here, we can see the large pool and the beautiful lit-up double staircase. It's spectacular … but we're afraid of the electricity bill, TBH.

This Home Is for Kids

If there was any question that Kelly's kids are loved, just look at this full-sized playground at their house. We usually see these in a community park, where the whole neighborhood of kids can play. Her children likely had hours of fun here because it looks like a kid's dream.

One of Many Focal Points

We're guessing this pool is the perfect temperature on a summer day and a cooler evening. It comes fitted with lights that make it one of the many focal points in the backyard. Even the gate around the large, beautiful pool and the expansive space for lounging are lovely.

Boat Dock and a Tree Swing

This home is likely so much fun for anyone with children, given there's so much to do on these four acres of land. It includes water big enough for boating to be a family activity, and we love the sweet tree swing right here. This looks like a serene space to relax and spend hours in the sun.
