If you’re going to see Kelly Clarkson in concert, you’re not just witnessing one of the pop greats singing live, you’re also getting a little comedy on the side. Right now, the Voice judge is in the midst of her residency in Las Vegas, and when a wardrobe malfunction took place during one of the concerts, Kelly didn’t miss a beat. Some people might have been really embarrassed by this, but she ended up making everyone laugh instead.

Kelly was on stage at Caesar’s Palace when a gust of wind blew through, blowing her sheer top up with it, which meant that everyone in the audience could see her lacy black bra. And now that the video of the moment has been posted all over social media, the rest of the world gets to see it now, too.
Fortunately, the American Idol winner wasn’t fazed in the least.
“There’s a lot of amazing things happening,” she joked. “Uh oh, there’s my boobs.”
She didn’t waste the opportunity to crack a joke.
Just to reassure everyone that there was nothing to worry about, Kelly quipped, “They’re too small, they won’t come out. You’re fine. They’re not going anywhere. They’re perfect.”
She also admitted that since it was time for the astrological event called the Lion’s Gate Portal, which is supposed to bring power and personal strength, she had to be careful about which words she choice in that situation.
“I’m gonna be honest with you — somebody was like, ‘It’s the Lion’s Gate Portal. It’s 8/8/8. There’s so much energy out, don’t speak negatively,’ [so] right when I made a self-deprecating joke, I’m like, ‘Just kidding, universe, my boobs are awesome,’” Kelly said. “It’s in my head, so as soon as I heard self-deprecation, I was like, ‘Just kidding!’ ”
Fair enough! Who can really afford to take a risk like that?
People are loving the way Kelly handled the awkward situation.
“She is so funny! I loved it when she said ‘They’re too small. They won’t come out,'” one commenter on TMZ’s TikTok video of the moment wrote. “Kelly is the best!”
Another commenter wrote, “Isn’t she the best?!? Could have been a catrastophy, yet she pulled it off with the audience cracking up!!”
After decades of performing live, of course Kelly is good at reacting to unexpected situations on the fly. It was far from an ideal moment for any performer to face on stage, but she handled it like a total champ.
