Kendra Duggar Reportedly Selling Her Car and People Think It Means Something Bigger

There is so much going on within the Duggar family that it’s hard to keep track of all the bad or shady behavior. With both Kendra and her husband facing major legal troubles, there’s been chatter about how the family is funding their lawyers for the upcoming proceedings. There’s also been much speculation about Kendra’s parents and where they stand amongst all this drama.

Most recently, some online sleuths spotted a beat-up, old red clunker for sale for just $ 1,500 that likely belonged to Kendra’s parents, Paul and Christina Caldwell. Are they hard up for money as well, or are they possibly helping their daughter out by selling off an old car that’s just sitting around?

It appears that Paul and Christina Caldwell, Kendra Duggar’s parents, are selling an old car.

It’s looking like it’s not just the Duggars who are strapped for cash!

Posted to the DuggarsSnark thread on Reddit, someone shared an ad for a red 2000 Honda CR-V with over 290,000 miles for sale for a whopping $1500. The listing likely belongs to none other than Paul and Christina Caldwell, with the location set to Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Sound at all familiar?

The sales listing also states that it’s a mechanic-owned vehicle, which, on the TLC show Counting On, was shown to be Kendra’s father’s vocation.

They’ve also stated that both the heat and the air conditioning work, which is quite a triumph considering this vehicle is now 26 years old! The sellers also claim that the car is in “great running condition.” Sure, that sounds plausible.

Can you really trust this ad, seeing as it’s coming from someone in the Duggar clan, even if they’re on the outskirts of the drama? Totally up to you to decide!

The comment section is full of speculation as to what’s going on with this family.

Seeing as Kendra Duggar’s parents have been called everything from “shameless” for living in their daughter’s home to desperate when they started a GoFundMe that was swiftly taken down, it may not be a shocker to some that they’re supposedly trying to make a buck off a junk car that’s nearly 30 years old.

One person in the Reddit thread couldn’t help but speak to the sheer audacity this family has for trying to sell this car. They wrote, “Are the Caldwells okay? It’s getting a bit much… This is going to be messy!” Oh, it’s already very messy.

Another Redditor commented that a couple with nine children seems to be forever struggling. They shared, “I don’t understand how a couple with this many kids didn’t think it’s their responsibility to have some degree of financial stability.” We low-key agree!

Are they trying to swindle someone with this car sale? Some people have some trust issues with this family.

Though part of the ad shares that the family is “moving and downsizing,” which is the reason for the sale, some people just aren’t buying it.

There are many comments from individuals who are actually concerned about the car’s condition because they claim it’s “mechanic-owned.” One person in the Reddit thread commented, “Mechanic owned isn’t always a plus. Lots of mechanics do the bare minimum to keep their own car running because they wrench all day and don’t want to do it on their own stuff in their free time.” That’s a valid point. And with a busy home life that includes several young children, it makes sense.

Another person left their skeptical thoughts in the comment section and wrote, “My partner is a mechanic and I cringe and move on when I see this on car listings lmao.” Another person just straight up said that “‘mechanic owned’ is a red flag, not a flex.” Okay then!

Whether you’re interested in the car or want to see what this family is going to try next to make some money, you have to admit they’re rather unashamed to let it all hang out in public when it comes to financial matters.
