Because Kim Kardashian is co-parenting her children with ex Kanye West, it’s inevitable that she’s apart from her kids now and then. But after the way she handled their separation during a recent getaway that was featured on The Kardashians this week, sister Khloé Kardashian is out for blood.
On the show, Kim, Khloé, and their mom, Kris Jenner, set out for a glamping trip in Joshua Tree without the kids. Although Khloé’s kiddos, True and Tatum, were back home, Kim’s oldest daughter, North, was on the other side of the world having joined Ye in China so they could perform together at a concert.
It’s pretty clear that the distance was tough on Kim – as it would be for any mom – and she spent a good chunk of the drive to their destination talking on FaceTime with her kid. We’re talking hours on the phone.
As they pointed out, Khloé and Kris weren’t upset with Kim for wanting to talk to her daughter while she was in another country, but they were upset that on a previous trip, Kim had given Khloé heat for wanting to FaceTime her own children to say goodnight during a trip.
“OK, well, we’re almost there and we’ve spent more than half of the trip on the phone with your children,” Kris said in the show. “Which – I love listening to my grandkids, don’t get me wrong – however you gave [Khloé] so much s— for checking in with her kids.”
“I know, but my kids are in [China]. Honestly, you’d freak out. She’s in China!” Kim told Khloé.
Khloé jokingly called her sister a “two-faced motherf—–” in a confessional, though she did admit that she understood why Kim would want to be in contact with North.
“Well there’s a difference. Kim talking to her daughter doesn’t bother me. She’s out of the country,” she said. “Of course you should talk to your child! But girl, don’t forget what a f—ing hypocrite you are.”
Maybe next time, Kim will think twice before giving Khloé flak for talking to her kids. (But probably not. This is Kim we’re talking about.)
