After being cheated on (and in the public eye, no less), Khloé Kardashian experienced a lot of shame and judgement. During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the reality TV star admitted that at one point, she couldn’t leave the house because she was “so embarrassed.”
When she was expecting another baby with Tristan Thompson, she was “so ashamed to tell the world.” Additionally, when she and the NBA playergot back together in spite of Tristan’s infidelity, Khloé felt like she really “let down” her younger sisters. Now that the cheating scandals are in the past, Khloé is getting candid about the impact they’ve had on her.
Khloé recalled a time when her ex-husband Lamar Odom cheated on her.
Prior to the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal, Khloé’s ex-husband Lamar also cheated on her. On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Khloé recounted how she confronted the NBA player when she found him at a hotel with another woman. She thinks she was about 26 years old when it happened.
“I saw in the window that him and this girl were … they were either naked or she was in lingerie, something like that,” Khloé described. She was able to figure out what room they were in and knocked on the door. “They answered it for some reason, and I just started going ballistic,” she said.
The confrontation left her with “bloody and gross” knuckles, which she tried to cover up when she went to a birthday party the next day. Khloé said she “acted as if nothing ever happened” even though her “knuckles were all bloody and gross” with “bandanas wrapped around [them].”
She admitted that she went to great lengths to ‘get intel on a guy’ in the past.
When Khloé found Lamar cheating on her, he “could not understand how I knew where he was,” Khloé said. However, to her, the better question was: “Why are you in a motel in Downtown LA at 3 in the morning?”
In terms of how much trouble she’s gone through to get information about a man, Khloé said she’s “gone far.” She described hacking into people’s voicemails and having “trackers on people’s cars before.” Though it might seem like a bit much, Khloé said she hates when men judge her for seeming like a “psychopath” — after all, according to her, she’s only done these things when a man has given her a good reason to be suspicious.
“Do not act like you did not put me in this position and you did not make me be this psychopath,” she said. “But I think that’s something I need to think is a red flag in a man, when they create the psychopath in me.”
At the same time, Khloé wishes she was pettier than she really is.
When Alex Cooper asked Khloé about the “pettiest thing” she’s done to “get back at an ex,” Khloé admitted that she’s not very petty — but she wishes she was. “I will say, ‘I’m gonna f— your dad,’ but it doesn’t happen,” Khloé said. “That would be my dream if I was that petty.”
“In my soul, I want to,” she continued. But in reality, she’s actually pretty forgiving — which is probably part of the reason she gave Tristan another chance after he cheated.

Khloé found out that Tristan had cheated on her just two days before she gave birth to their daughter. When she chose to have Tristan in the delivery room, “people couldn’t get over that,” but she was just trying to make sure that someday, she could tell True that her dad was in the delivery room.
Then, after giving birth to True, Khloé felt quite “isolated.” During that challenging time, she and Tristan “started reconnecting.” Those circumstances likely influenced her decision to give Tristan another chance. “Seeing this man with your brand new baby and all these things, yes, you do get blinded by so many things,” she admitted.
At the same time, she said she could “never could fully trust him” and “never felt safe around him again” after he cheated. While she’s not exactly sure why she gave him another chance, having a baby with him was definitely a big part of it.
“I know if I didn’t have a baby, I never would’ve stayed with Tristan,” Khloé said. “Like, ever.” Reflecting on her decision, Khloé emphasized that “it’s really easy to judge” if you haven’t been in a similar situation yourself.
Khloé said ‘the worst part’ was letting her sisters down.
While Khloé clearly experienced a lot of pain due to the infidelity, nothing hit her quite as hard as the feeling of disappointing her family. Khloé feels as though she probably let her younger sisters down when she decided to give Tristan another chance. Though her younger sisters have never told her that they were disappointed in her, Khloé said she’s “always felt how much I’ve disappointed them by staying and doing that again.”
Her younger sisters had warned her that Tristan would cheat again and told her to leave him, but she obviously didn’t listen.
