Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson‘s relationship might have met a very messy end (more than once), but the former couple isn’t letting their history get in the way of doing what’s best for their kids. Khloé and Tristan reunited last week to celebrate daughter True Thompson’s first day of second grade, and the photos have now made it to Instagram to prove it.
True’s first day of school photos are too cute.
Khloé shared photos from True’s first day of school, which (of course) feature a totally over-the-top backdrop, complete with a giant pink book that reads “first day of 2nd grade.” Swipe over, and you’ll see a family photo, including Tristan, Khloé, True, and their 3-year-old son, Tatum.
“Just like that, my baby is off to 2nd grade,” Khloé wrote in her caption. “Time is flying faster than I ever imagined — it feels like I blinked and my baby grew up. I’m so proud of the respectful, sweet, loving, smart, beautiful girl she is
But man this all happens so quickly. In a blink. Wishing my sweet True endless joy and asking God to watch over her always and forever.”
That’s not the only time Tristan was hanging out with Khloé and the kids recently.
In a post on his own Instagram account last week, Tristan shared footage from True’s lemonade stand, where she appeared to be selling at least two flavors of the drinks plus bags of her mom’s protein popcorn, Khloud. Both True’s little brother, Tatum, and her cousin, Dream, were on hand to help out.
Khloé shared more photos from True’s day at the lemonade stand on her own Instagram, writing, “such a great turn out! The kids were so happy.”
Tatum looked so proud holding his jar of tips!
Khloé has always been open about how important coparenting peacefully is to her.
In an episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast that aired in July, she said that no matter what’s going on between her and Tristan personally, she has always made sure that their coparenting relationship is “seamless” so their kids aren’t affected.
“If me and Tristan are fighting … my kids don’t need to know about it,” she said. “All they know is that Mommy and Daddy love them, and we’re here.”
