Kids Are Protesting ICE & Trump on Roblox

Kids have a way of showing you the truth, whether you want to admit it or not. And when kids began participating in ICE and anti-Trump protests on the multi-platform game Roblox, it showed just how true that is. There have been plenty of TikTok videos that show just that. The kids are either playing as ICE agents, people being arrested, or people who are protesting arrests. And it says a lot about the state of America.

One parent shared a TikTok in which she explained that she made an account so she could join in on the protest in the game and support her son. And for some families, their kids’ interest in showing what they believe in on Roblox when it comes to politics and social issues has translated to real life action. Under that TikTok, one user commented that they helped their little brother make a sign in real life and attend a real protest.

The kids playing Roblox have different roles in the ICE and Trump protests.

TikTok user Aaron Parnas, who is known for his breaking news-style TikTok videos about politics, shared a video about the Trump and ICE protests on Roblox. He says in his video that kids on Roblox have started protests in the game to go against other players who are in ICE uniforms and raiding virtual homes.

“Kids in this country are literally protesting ICE on a video game,” Parnas says in his TikTok. “These kids on Roblox are under the age of 18 and they know what’s happening in America right now. That is a significant breakthrough of information.”

Adults also play Roblox, but many believe these in-game protests are the result of kids wanting to stand up for what they believe in. While kids protest ICE and share their beliefs about Trump and his administration on Roblox, people have shared videos showing just that on social media.

This is all, of course, in response to the ICE raids and protests happening across the US amid Trump’s decision to deport undocumented residents. For some kids, and even older Roblox users, this is another way to voice their opposition.

People on social media are cheering them on.

Under another video of a Roblox protest that was posted on TikTok, a user shared, “My little sister wanted to go to the protest with me yesterday but I refused due to safety. She said ‘it’s ok I protested on Roblox yesterday.'”

Someone else commented, “It’s funny but it’s also so wholesome. Like these babies physically CANNOT go to the protests and they feel so passionate they’re doing their part the best way they can.”

Others commented to share concerns about Roblox being banned in the US because of this kind of activity within the game. But the game is still active, and kids are still making themselves heard in various worlds within the game. The in-game ICE and anti-Trump protests are still clearly present.

Users on Reddit commented on a thread praising the kids for standing up to ICE, even if it’s in an in-game protest. The post noted in-game signs said things like “Frick Ice.”

“Frick ICE indeed, kids, frick ICE indeed,” someone commented on the thread.

Another user wrote, “The children are our future.”
