Although Kim Kardashian isn’t always one to comment on or confirm her romantic relationships until more time has passed, she basically confirmed that she is dating Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton when she showed up at the Grand Prix event in Monaco in June 2026. Before then, she had mostly been rumored to be dating him but neither had said much on the topic. But that’s not really what we’re here today to discuss.
Instead, it’s the way a TikTok video shows how the SKIMS founder was totally sidelined and humbled when she showed up at the Grand Prix event. In the video, some of the other attendees are not as impressed by Kardashian’s appearance as they might be at other events. It might even be a bit of a humbling experience for her, and let’s face it, she could probably use that.

In the video, the creator says that it’s obvious that the world of Formula 1 racing is “a pretty different world than she’s used to in Hollywood,” in reference to Kardashian pulling up to the Grand Prix event. One racer is asked “what’s happening down there” in reference to where Kardashian is entering the outdoor space.
He says, “We’re watching Lewis’s new girlfriend arrive.”
This is, of course, in reference to racer Lewis Hamilton, who Kardashian has been rumored to be dating. Her appearance at the Grand Prix all but confirms it, and that is apparently how other racers think of Kardashian. It also speaks to her not being taken totally seriously by some of them, but it’s a whole other world for the reality TV star and mogul.
“She’s new money, F1 is old money…this was a hard watch,” one user commented on the TikTok.
Another joked, “It’s giving Lauren Sanchez.”
Others took Kardashian’s sort of disastrous appearance to mean that she and Lewis are dating each other purely for the bit. Well, for the PR bit, that is.
“They’re def in a PR relationship,” someone claimed.
But when it comes down to it, people are confused about why she didn’t just choose a more appropriate outfit that is befitting of a racecar driver’s girlfriend.
“Her stylist didn’t help her pick a better outfit,” another TikTok user observed.
People loved to see her humbled a bit.

The creator in the TikTok also explains how, on day one, Kardashian shows up in jeans and a lacy body suit. After possibly realizing she is underdressed, she later shows up in a much more formal dress that also looks a little out of place. Honestly, it seems like she can’t get the look quite right. This is a first for Kardashian, dating a racer rather than an athlete, comedian, or singer.
“She’s not the center of attention and the environment wasn’t curated to/for her,” a commenter posted. “I loved it.”
Another person commended the creator for sharing all of Kardashian’s apparent flubs at the event.
“She had a historically bad day,” they wrote. “Loved the way you compiled this lmao.”
Someone also added, “Everything I know about her is against my will.”
She is rumored to be dating Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton.

Kardashian’s appearance makes sense, only because of her possible romantic link to Hamilton. And afterward, he did speak highly of her being there, when he spoke to reporters, per ESPN.
“Yeah, it’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have her support,” he said. “My friends [in general]. It was an incredible turnout overall. I don’t know what else to say. It’s amazing to have good people around you and supporting you. And she does that for me every day.”
That might not be the confirmation people wanted about the pair dating, but it’s something.
