Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West‘s four children seem to spend plenty of time with each of their parents, but could that be changing soon? Amid rumors that Ye is planning a big move to Japan, sources close to Kim are saying that the reality star has no problems lawyering up to prevent her children from spending increased time away from her, all the way across the world with their dad.

Rumors about a potential move for Ye surfaced earlier this month.

According to TMZ, a music journalist named Touré has reported that Ye has been spending a lot of time in Japan these days as he works on his upcoming album. So far, he hasn’t purchased any property in the area but tends to prefer being there to Los Angeles, because he can come and go as he pleases without being hassled by fans or the media.
Ye reportedly believes that a renegotiation of custody is in order.
A source close to the famous family told In Touch Weekly that right now, Ye believes that Kim will allow North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm to make long trips over to Japan to spend time with him.
“Rumors have been swirling for a while that Kanye intends to relocate to Tokyo and renegotiate his custody terms with Kim, because he’ll want the kids to travel there frequently once he’s settled,” the source said.
However, Kim likely won't agree so easily.
“It obviously poses all sorts of complications and challenges from a logistical point of view, and Kim’s very worried about what the future holds if he goes ahead,” the source added. “She’ll lawyer up and likely fight him every step if necessary, but it’s obviously the last thing she wants or needs to be dealing with.”

She's also concerned with how Ye's current legal issues will affect her kids.
“On top of that, there’s this horrific case being brought against him that can’t be ignored, plus his ongoing marriage issues with Bianca [Censori],” the insider added.
Earlier this month, Ye was sued by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her while at a studio with him and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Kim's more than a little stressed about the situation.
The source added, “It’s got Kim’s head swirling and she’s obligated to apprise herself of the situation. But to say she finds it sordid and stressful is an understatement.”
It remains to be seen if Ye will actually be moving to Japan in the long term, but it would make sense that Kim wouldn’t want to give up any time with her children without a fight.
