It may be true that Kim Zolciak-Biermann is looking forward to the day that she eventually becomes a grandmother, but contrary to what her recent social media post may have implied, that day is not today. After the Real Housewives star made what appeared to be a pregnancy announcement in honor of her daughter Brielle Biermann, as it turns out, it was just a scheme to drum up engagement and make some quick cash. Now that the truth is out, her fans aren't laughing.

It all started when Kim shared a sonogram photo on social media.
Posting a split image of her with her 26-year-old daughter, Brielle, and a sonogram, Kim wrote that she is "so excited to be a grandma," along with a pregnant woman emoji.
She pointed fans to the link in her bio, which leads to a story about Brielle's plans to have children in the future.
As it turns out, Brielle isn't expecting.
According to what sources close to Kim and her family told TMZ, Brielle is not pregnant, and Kim reportedly posted the photo as clickbait to turn a profit.
Kim has since turned off the comments on the Instagram post, and no users are able to reply to her identical tweet, either.
Fans aren't impressed with Kim's attempt to mislead people about a pregnancy.
One popular reality TV TikToker, @justellemurasaki, already has made a video about the situation, accusing her of "flat out lying" to her fans to make money.
The replies to Kim's tweet seem to share very similar sentiments. Some people pointed out that her message was just clickbait to keep others from falling for it, and one user called Kim faking her daughter's pregnancy "sick."
"Kim Zolciak constantly posting clickbait about her daughter’s fertility plans is truly wild," read one tweet.
It seems she's particularly desperate for money these days.
The same day that Kim made the post, Entertainment Tonight reported that her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, is being sued by JPMorgan Chase Bank for an unpaid credit card bill of $13,071.88. This news comes just months after TMZ reported that Kim and Kroy owe over $1 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS — and amid lawsuits involving Kim and even more unpaid credit card debt.

This isn't the first time Kim has faked a pregnancy for clicks.
She once made a similar Instagram post, insinuating that she was "so excited to confirm" her pregnancy … only for it to lead to an article about one of her friends' pregnancies instead.
Considering how many people face infertility, quite a few people find it insensitive to joke about pregnancy, no matter what the reason. Maybe after this latest mishap, Kim will finally learn that lesson.
