King Charles ‘Deeply Uncomfortable & Horrified’ Over Prince Harry’s Attacks on Trump

Now that Prince Harry lives in the US full time, it makes sense that he has some opinions about president Donald Trump… but it sounds like his father, King Charles, really wishes he would keep those opinions to himself. According to what a palace insider told commentator Rob Shuter, Charles is feeling “deeply uncomfortable” with the way that Harry speaks out so publicly about Trump, especially when it comes to the president’s recent comments about the war in Afghanistan.

Trump recently made a claim that really offended Harry.

While talking to Fox Business earlier this month, Trump made the bold claim that NATO wasn’t as involved in the war with Afghanistan as they want the world to believe.

“We’ve never needed them. We have never really asked anything of them,” he said. “You know, they’ll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan, and they did—they stayed a little back, a little off the front lines. But we’ve been very good to Europe and to many other countries.”

Harry wasted no time firing back.

Shortly afterwards, Harry issued a statement about just how offensive he believed Trump’s comments to be, pointing out that since allied nations did actually answer the call to stand with the United States, including him personally, since he was serving with the British military at the time.

“I served there. I made lifelong friends there. And I lost friends there,” he said in his statement, via People. “The United Kingdom alone had 457 service personnel killed.”

Harry continued, “Thousands of lives were changed forever. Mothers and fathers buried sons and daughters. Children were left without a parent. Families are left carrying the cost. Those sacrifices deserve to be spoken about truthfully and with respect, as we all remain united and loyal to the defense of diplomacy and peace.”

Charles reportedly wishes his youngest son would just keep his mouth shut.

As Radar Online reported, according to what Rob shared in a post on his Substack, a royal insider believes that Charles doesn’t want Harry to get involved in the argument like he has in the past — whether or not he actually agrees with his son’s view of the situation.

“Charles understands the emotion, but he’s horrified by the timing. This is diplomacy — not podcast politics,” the source said, while another source added, “Harry’s comments make an already sensitive situation far trickier. The King can’t clap back — even if he agrees.”

It wouldn’t be surprising at all to find out this is all true, since Charles has appeared to play as nicely as possible with Trump since his reelection. But there seems to be a decent chance that this does result in even more tension between Harry and his dad.
