It’s been more than a decade since Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick called it quits for the last time in their on-again, off-again relationship, but there might still be some hard feelings simmering between them. According to what a source close to the famous reality TV family told Globe, Kourtney can’t stand that Scott still appears on The Kardashians, and it sounds like she wished she could have more of a clean break from her ex.
According to the insiders who spoke with the outlet, now that the holidays are around the corner, Kourtney is reportedly peeved that she will have to spend time in close quarters with Scott again since the rest of her family still considers him family — sisters Khloé and Kim included.
Of course, she and Scott were always going to be tied to each other by their children (the former couple shares sons Mason and Reign and daughter Penelope together) but at this point, it sounds like Kourtney is finding all the togetherness to be a little much.
“If Kourtney had her way, Scott would be out of the picture entirely,” one of the sources said. “She lost respect for him a long time ago and finds it annoying as hell that he’s still featured on the family’s reality show and hangs around them like a bad smell. The way he flirts with Khloé and Kim really creeps her out too.”
Kourtney may not win this battle, though, since it seems like she’s the only one in her family who feels this way about Scott.
“Scott’s also extremely tight with Kris, who’s always looked at him as a second son and who thinks Kourtney’s been unnecessarily harsh towards him — a view shared by Kim and Khloé,” the insider added. “They think he’s a lot of fun and point out he’s a fantastic dad to Mason, Penelope and Reign.”
Now that the holiday season is here, Kourtney may decide to put her foot down on Scott being at the celebrations where her husband, Travis Barker, and their son, Rocky, will be present.
“Everyone wants Scott involved in the holiday get-togethers, but Kourtney’s saying she won’t turn up if he’s sitting at the table,” the source said.
Would Kourtney really be willing to miss out on Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family if Scott is in attendance? Time will tell, but considering how good they’ve always seemed to be at coparenting over the last decade, maybe these two will manage to work something out.
