Khloé Kardashian may have been able to forge a friendship with Tristan Thompson as they co-parent their children together following his multiple cheating scandals, but not everyone in her family has been able to do the same. On this week's episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney admitted that she is "triggered" by Tristan and struggles to even be near him sometimes – and as it turns out, her 11-year-old daughter, Penelope, feels the same way, as much as they try to keep the peace.

Khloé and Tristan have been through a lot in their relationship.
Not only did Khloé find out that Tristan had been cheating on her days before giving birth to their oldest daughter True, but also something similar happened again while their surrogate was pregnant with their son, Tatum, years later — and the second time around, the other woman, Maralee Nichols, was pregnant.
Khloé has somehow found a way to keep the peace with Tristan so he can continue to be part of their kids' daily lives, but Kourtney isn't finding it so easy.
On 'The Kardashians,' Kourtney shared how she really feels about Tristan.
In one scene, Kourtney calls out to her daughter, Penelope, who is off screen, letting her know that Tristan is going to be with Khloé, who is on her way over, and making sure that's OK with her.
Penelope agreed that it would be fine, and it was then that Kourtney admitted both of them struggle being around him sometimes.
This is something Penelope and Kourtney have discussed before.
"I feel like she gets it from me," Kourtney said. "I told her the first day of school I was so triggered by him."
She went on to admit that when it comes to Tristan's past transgressions, as a family, they tend to "brush it off," but every once in a while, she feels like she "just can't do it anymore."

Khloé not only understands how Penelope feels but also encourages it.
Khloé has always had a close relationship with Penelope, and when she sat down to talk to the cameras about how she feels about the situation, she said she has no problem at all with her niece feeling the way she does about Tristan.
"I don't want this behavior to be something that I'm validating or that I'm justifying," Khloé said. "I want her to know that how she's feeling is the right way to feel. We should not accept someone treating us like this."
Other members of Khloé's family feel differently.
In an earlier episode, Kim explained that she and Tristan have become friends despite everything that has happened because he was able to "step up" for her children while they were struggling with her divorce from Kanye West.
"He started showing up to the games, he picks them up, takes them to dinner, and will always come to my defense, especially if it's stuff [with] me and my ex, and I never really forgot that. I'll never really throw someone away and act like I don't feel like they can't grow and evolve," she said.
