Some celebrities seem to catch pushback from fans and critics no matter what they do. The Kardashians are one of them, and with more eyes on Kourtney right now because she's pregnant (and she has a drama-filled storyline in the current season of Kardashians), everything she does seems to be picked apart.
The latest error Kourtney has made, according to her critics, is allowing her tween daughter to wear an outfit they deemed "inappropriate."
Kourtney is on vacation with her daughter, Penelope, to celebrate her birthday.
Kourtney treated her daughter to a destination birthday celebration, taking her and seven of her closest friends and cousins to a relaxing vacation in Hawaii. She has been sharing some photos on social media of their adventures while there.
The mom, who is pregnant with her fourth child, posted a collage of photos on July 14, many featuring the birthday girl.
It looks like they had the best time, and Kourtney was happy to pamper her kiddo for her 11th birthday.
"Still beaming with joy from the l week I had taking 7 girls to Hawaii to celebrate my daughter's birthday," Kourtney wrote on Instagram.
"Beyond grateful for memories that will last a lifetime. Pure magic."
The photos and videos show the incredible sights, soaking in the sun, and taking in the experience. But people still found a way to criticize.
In the comment section, there are way too many negative ones aiming at Kourtney for letting her daughter dress how she wants to.
"Inappropriate and disgusting," one harsh critic wrote. "Why is she dressed like that? Buckle her pants, you're a bad influence. Are you guys done selling your bodies? Your daughter's yet?"
"Um P needs to put on clothes,' someone else posed in the comments.
"Do her friggin pants up," wrote another commenter. "Wtf she's far to young for this s—."
"Why does P have her jeans unbuttoned in a photo and like some shirt that's like Kourtney's like she's an adult," questioned another person.
"My daughter would def not be wearing a cropped bra and unbuttoned pants as a trendy fit but i mean?" added another critic. "I genuinely understand where it's coming from for millions of ppl to see is just insane to me though, money or no money. it's not cool. not my daughter or life but my opinion."
The comments kept rolling in.
"Midriff on a child," another critic pointed out. "Idk."
"She’s in a crop top,” wrote someone else. “I wasn’t allowed to wear them in my 14-18 years!”
People took issue with Penelope’s nails as well, with one person writing, “Too young for those nails!”
“Looks like the daughter gets gel manicures?” added someone else. “Kind of young for more chemicals? But hey, it’s much better than sugary cakes right?”
It’s wild the things critics point out. It looks like Penelope is having an amazing time, and it’s adorable she’s twinning with her mom.
