In 2025, it seems like people would’ve moved past looking at a woman’s body and then asking her if she’s pregnant. Of course, this question can be uncomfortable for so many different reasons. Recently, Kourtney Kardashian was faced with this exact situation after she shared a bikini photo from a recent trip. The way the Poosh founder’s body looked in the photo had some fans convinced that she must be pregnant with her fifth child — an assumption that many people found pretty insulting. In the comments section, Kourtney set the record straight.
It all started when Kourtney shared some photos from her trip to Italy.
Kourtney recently traveled to Italy and shared some photos from her trip on Instagram. One photo showed Kourtney’s reflection when she was wearing a bikini.
The photo had people convinced that she must be pregnant again. “She’s pregnant?” one fan commented on the post. A second person said, “Looks pregnant again, you do you, boo.”
A third fan took it a step further and asserted that Kourtney is pregnant — just because of how she looked in the bikini photo. “You can tell from the bikini reflection photo Kourtney is pregnant again,” they wrote.
In reality, though, people’s bodies can change for a variety of reasons, which is exactly what Kourtney explained when she responded to the fan. Responding to the fan’s comment directly, she wrote, “Or breastfeeding, eating gelato, focaccia, pasta, not working out, and living my best damn life baby!”
Some fans called people out for their pregnancy comments.
Many fans loved Kourtney’s response and accused those who suggested she must be pregnant of “body shaming” her. “We could just normalize what a regular body looks like!” one person commented on the post. “She doesn’t have to be pregnant to look real. Y’all are use to unreal expectations and mommy makeovers. Personally, I think she looks great!”
Another fan assured Kourtney that she looks “amazing” in spite of the comments suggesting that she must be pregnant. Addressing the haters directly, the fan wrote, “You all commenting on this beautiful mother living her best life with her family should be ashamed of yourself and go get a hobby.”
A third fan found the pregnancy rumors “insulting” given that it’s normal for people’s bodies to change, even when they’re not expecting. “It’s insulting to say someone is pregnant because of their belly,” they commented. “It’s normal for those over 45.” Another person added that it’s normal for women at any age.
But in spite of this, some Kardashian fans continued to insist that Kourtney does look pregnant.
Kourtney welcomed her youngest child in 2023.
Kourtney is married to Travis Barker. Their blended family includes seven children. Prior to marrying Travis, Kourtney welcomed three kids — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — with her ex Scott Disick. Then, in November 2023, Kourtney and Travis welcomed their first child together: a baby boy named Rocky. In February 2025, Kourtney’s sister Khloé said she could definitely see Kourtney having another baby in the future. “She loves having babies and being pregnant,” Khloé said of her sister. “So I can totally see her having another one.”
